We visited Montenegro 3 times. About the villa. . . This is loudly said, of course. House with one entrance. Each floor has 2 rooms. One belongs to "Monica", the second - another villa with an unpronounceable name. The room is very good! Three balconies (2 small, one huge), three bedrooms, a living room combined with a kitchenette, one toilet, 2 TVs. Air conditioning only in the living room. So it will be hard in the heat... With water
there were no problems (those who traveled in June-July were frightened by constant water cuts). Fortunately, this did not affect us, but the local population regularly went to the barrels. Parquet in the bedrooms. Tiles in the living room and on the balconies. Acoustics be healthy... Conversations in the room on the floor above were heard wonderfully.
On the day of arrival, we decided to celebrate this event. Settled on the balcony. There is a large glass table and 6 chairs. Had the imprudence to drop the bottle. Glass on tile - you know, it was spectacular. And then for the first time and the last time I saw a Neurasthenic Montenegrin. The owner immediately began to knock on the door, yelling in Serbian (as it turned out after the interrogation, he did not speak other languages). He rushed at a smaller man, he did not dare to a larger individual. Barely calmed down. I suspect he thought we smashed his desk. This scandal ended. When asked what time you can make noise, the answer was up to 10. Considering that our children are already adults and quite loud... they learned to talk in a whisper in the evenings.

Towels are changed every day, cleaning is not bothered. There is no safe.
Hide your money wherever you want. As a result, the rooms were locked. I don’t know how often they change linen (once we were caught and the beds were made), they don’t have duplicate keys. I had an electric kettle with me - I highly recommend it for those who have rooms with a kitchen. Compared to 2002, there were 3 times more vacationers. You can find a place on the beach. Better yet, take a catamaran, sail away and frolic in the water to your heart's content. Service at the same level. Many have already written about prices. Haven't changed since last year.
We ate at our favorite restaurant-dining room "Kangaroo". Cooking is about the same everywhere, but away from the coastline it turns out cheaper. If you are not too lazy to cook, go to the “mesara”. The freshest semi-finished products! You can cook, fry yourself, you can wait there - everything will be cooked. For shrimp and fish, you need to run to the market early in the morning (or buy from the fishermen on the embankment in the evening). There you can also buy olive oil, cheeses, prosciutto. The assortment in the markets is quite on the level. Interesting dishes are prepared in the Mozart restaurant (tables near the wall of the old city, the restaurant itself is inside). In the Italian restaurant "Masha" worthy steaks with mushroom sauce. True, the institution is not cheap.
About excursions... If you have strong backsides, then you can. Not everyone will be able to ride the bus along the serpentine or the famous "Spring" on the water (and there are wooden benches) all day long. There is no difference between excursions from Russian tour operators and offers from the embankment, except for the price. Again, you need to have strong legs. The ascent and descent to Lovcen, Ostrog or the Kotor fortress is for the strong. This is especially true for the elderly. And for those who are afraid of heights. We watched the scenes… Be sure to take water with you. If you are too lazy to carry it, then in the fortress (Kotor) they will sell it to you for 2 euros 0.3 liters. All people are different, of course. Some are delighted with Skadar Lake - I pass. The view from the top is unforgettable. Beauty is extraordinary. And walking along it is about nothing. The guides… They rumble monotonously about Petr Petrovich – you can get confused instantly. It's easier to buy a reference book (there is absolutely the same information - word for word). I don't like "galloping around Europe" excursions. No one dared to drive in our country (the number of accidents in Montenegro, in my opinion, has increased dramatically). Made it easier. I photographed the schedule of buses at the station - from there they “danced”. In this way, we went to Kotor and Lovcen. We reached Kotor

in 30 minutes. We calmly walked, saw a local wedding (very picturesque). We ate in peace. Getting to Lovcen was more difficult. We reached the city of Cetinje, where we took 2 taxis and they were already getting to the mountain. Until they brought 5 buses of tourists, enjoyed the silence and beauty, went down to the restaurant, tasted delicious lamb. We took the same taxi back to Cetinje (at the same time, the hospitable Pero told about the sights and the Kino group sounded in his car))). We walked for an hour ourselves, and then we were taken to Budva right to the villa. In total, this pleasure cost us 10 euros more than vouchers from the embankment. It's worth it!! ! In the same way you can get to the Blue Caves. Because I don’t have the best memories of “Spring”... the butt is like a frying pan, the guides drink and listen to local fervent songs about “Pig Pate”, periodically insert a CD with stories about local sights in Russian and Serbian. In Budva, taxi drivers are more greedy - take motors in other cities.
The country is wonderful, the people are hospitable! And if you regularly tip, you are adored! Our compatriots have launched the publication of the newspaper and magazine "Russian Adriatic". Very interesting and informative articles. To rejoice, apparently, we, not very rich tourists, did not have long to go... Sveti Stefan Island was leased for 30 years by a Singaporean company. Queen's Beach is closed. Hotel Mediteran is already working. Saint Nikola Island is still closed. Prices will definitely rise.
In general, a wonderful rest. I recommend a holiday in this country to all people who are not particularly spoiled by service. Although such unique ones came across... One young lady of model appearance after rafting held a rally, I remember... Like, I was splashed all over, it's some kind of horror and everything like that... What can I say? )))
