The first time we went to Montenegro. Here is a summary of the pros and cons of the trip.

Only a border guard is needed. The flight is short. The air there is clean, fragrant, the sea is clear and warm, the landscapes are beautiful, mountains, trees (olives, pomegranates, palm trees, figs, shrubs with flowers). There are many attractions, both man-made and natural.

Cons and precautions:

You need to change money before arriving at the airport (everything that you are going to spend there) or just put it on a card and withdraw from there, because. there our rubles are like candy wrappers.

It is better not to use a taxi, they are constantly cheating, they are very overpriced. You need to ask, look for bus stops.

Beaches. We lived in Sveti Stefan, where the beach is small, pebbles, clean (but only half), there are no cafes, which is good for us and there were few people. We didn’t like all the others who saw Kamenovo, Milocer, Becici and especially central Budva because there are cafes on the beach, everything is thrown around, they don’t clean the beaches. In Budva, we found a normal beach outside the old town. Were in Ulcinj. There, the beaches are mostly rocky, with ladders into the water, but everything is clean, except for the central city.

There were problems with nutrition, we called it "second time syndrome")). We come to the restaurant for the first time, everything is fine, everything is beautiful and tasty, my husband left a good tip. We come a second time, order the same thing and everything is much worse. The third came, too, it is felt that everything is not very good. At the same time, how to say, there is no obvious hostility towards the Russians, but there is certainly a feeling that they treat us badly and this is manifested in almost everything. In general, it is very unpleasant and insulting, we arrived in a good mood, we pay money, and not small ones, we are polite with everyone, but you get such an attitude. Prices are jacked up everywhere, they don’t make discounts, they constantly strive to deceive you and rip you off even more. We could not order a taxi to the airport very early in the morning, we went on foot along the road to catch a ride, as a result we got a taxi. Agreed for 25 (although it costs 15-20). All the way he spoke his teeth to us, took us the longest way, then announced that 25 was an advance payment and we had another 84 euros !!!! ! Like from the taxi driver Mediteran and very cool)) Well, we already had nothing except 5 euros, we gave it away and dispersed on that. It was horribly disgusting. They are very deceiving on jet skis in Budva, if you are inattentive, they will divorce you in two accounts for money. 30 minutes. costs 50 euros. They say in broken language where you can go and that in half an hour he will come for you. As a result, we went, the bike turned out to be not quite serviceable and

When we drove where they told us, more than half an hour passed, but no one followed us. Then they yelled that they couldn’t find us, that we rode for an hour and a half, drive more money, in general, they are good and we are inattentive, so we got it.

Excursions were not taken for us quite expensive, it was from 25 euros per person. A type of Russian-language excursion passed by, I don’t know what happened before, but here’s what I see about that singing is called: “We are passing a gift shop, and this is a museum, there is collected what they unearthed, and these are shops, you can go there, there used to be handicraft shops", I'm not exaggerating (it was in Budva). The book guides there are absolutely stupid, just pictures and general information. You won't get anywhere with them. There is always a problem with the Internet in cafes. Foreign tourists feel very good there, they are treated better, and they all smoke a lot everywhere.

As a result, I really don’t want to go there the second time, but if you prepare well and with knowledge of the matter, then you can, in principle, have a pleasant rest. For all the time we met 2-3 normal nice people (from the locals). In general, foreigners behave there quite noisily and freely, they will never spend extra money, that’s for sure, and if they definitely find fault with the service, why such an attitude towards us is still a mystery to me. We saw, yes, there are a lot of redneck tourists of all ages, both Russian and Ukrainian, but the Germans, and the French, and the Americans with the Italians are also shitting there... We decided that it was more profitable to go with three, four, speak English and hide friendliness and openness.
