First time in Montenegro. Before the trip, I read a lot of reviews from tourists AND FRIENDS. An alternative to Crimea for sure. Lived in Budva. On the first day, we decided to look around, looked at the old town in Budva, walked along the embankment, a lot of people. Lots of cafes, restaurants, nightclubs. Russian groups come every week, we went to Noga Svelo and were pleasantly surprised. For the next three days we rented a car (it’s not so easy to rent a car with a volume of 1.4! ). I’ll say right away that you can’t take a smaller engine, stop somewhere in the mountains! And if you are 4 people in a car, forget about cars with a small volume. On the first day, we chose the Kotor Bay route (Kotor, Pirast, Herceg Nova) and after lunch we went to Dubrovnik (Croatia). This tour took us all day (from 9-00 to 19.00). In principle, the cities are very similar, but each with its own zest, there is something to see, I recommend it. On the second day we went to the city of Cetinje, where there is a church where shrines are kept. The road from Budva passes through the mountains, so I don’t recommend anyone without driving experience. In Cetinje, we joined a Russian-speaking excursion, and after the excursion, not in a hurry, we sat in a local cafe. After that, we went through the mountains to the mausoleum. They chose the road through the village of Negushi, where they tasted and bought cheese, honey, smoked meat and wine. If you choose this route to the mausoleum, then in some places it is not only extreme, but very extreme. In some places, the road did not allow two cars to pass (as in other areas and on other routes : )). The observation deck is impressive, but the mausoleum itself is a scammer. Therefore, it's up to you. Yes, even at the expense of excursion divorces. Do not go to Skadar Lake. We got there and decided to take a look. So, here, they put you on a boat and ride on the lake (22 euros per person). First, they drive along the coast for 40 minutes, see some ruins (dung), then they drive to the other side to see the church standing on the mountain (but they don’t drive close, because there’s nothing to see), then they drive under the bridge to the other side, where you eat along the coast and look at the mountains. The entire journey takes 2 hours. After 15 minutes, you understand that I WANT BACK! In a word, a swindler and wasted time!

The next day we went to the other end of the country to see the canyons. In the photographs, they look very good, but they didn’t impress me personally, along the way we looked at several reserved places (blue lakes), but this train is not for me. You get very tired, but there are practically no impressions. We spent the next three days at sea. The beach is paid (10 euros for 2). In the first days the sea was very cold, and in the last three days it was warm, they say that the temperature is affected by currents. Straw umbrellas are very small, so every 30-40 minutes I had to carry a sunbed and "catch" the shade. If you want to take a nap on the beach, forget it, because every 10-15 minutes a local native selling corn (if you please, shod corn) passes and calls. I still shudder from this phrase : ) In addition to him, there are also sellers who do not let you get bored. Plus from the sea, where the boat runs and one of the cafes is advertised in the mouthpiece. At lunchtime, the sea becomes dirty and the staff with a cage catches all sorts of nasty things (I don’t know where they come from). There is only one conclusion, you can go once.
