We were in Montenegro for the first time. We rested for only a week, but we will remember this trip for a long time. Everything was so wonderful, and the place is very picturesque and beautiful, and the hosts are hospitable and friendly, and you feel truly comfortable in the hotel, like at home. The prices are optimal, the quality excellent.

Rested with a small child of 4 years from mid-August to mid-September. 1. I was not met. Although I called in advance, wrote, but... I took a taxi and forward from the airport. When we reached Bechechchchchii and the road went uphill, I grabbed my head. 4 km for you to understand! 4 km to the beach down a steep mountain and up a steep mountain with a small child.

And so every day 2 times (since we sleep during the day)
2. Payment through Sberbank 30%, upon arrival they told me that 17 euros did not reach))) the bank took some kind of fee there. Fortunately, I took with me a payment with the indicated paid amount and Mark (manager) somehow wilted. I paid the rest of 70% and that's it.
3. The loud name "Olive Grove" is 5 karyucheks of dusty green color. The villa itself is a pretty nice building for a bunch of people, meaning that 6 people or more can live in one room, draw conclusions about the number of residents, the lack of sunbeds, in general, "everything is mixed up in this house" and "sardines" in the pool and evening "ora" under the window.
4. Separately, I want to talk about the owner's family and service. I did not come to visit you, I paid for my accommodation. Read this phrase again, dear Vladimir! They have a family - husband, wife and 3 adult children - students).
The sun loungers and the pool are constantly occupied by children's friends, they came by car in the morning and "hang out" all day. What would you understand - with cocktails, a dog that also swam in the pool - made a remark more than once, and topless from "heifers"))) My son, 4 years old, of course, was impressed)))
And, of course, lunches and dinners at the big table of the whole family, friends and staff. And then they go to serve you. Previously, don’t even poke your head into the “dining room”... Those who gather there should be prepared to feel like a “poor relative” who was not invited to the table. Weird. . .
5. Transfer to the sea and back is a separate "song". Since gasoline is very expensive, the owners save. And you will be transported not on a "minibus", but on an ordinary passenger "Opel" with folding seats in the trunk. 9 people at a time! are you weak? As you understand, you don’t always leave the first time, not always even the second)) sometimes they just don’t come for you, and you have to call Sonya, who has already gotten tired of all these trips (and I understand her). Or legs 2 km uphill (straight). Or a taxi 5 euros. We went down ourselves, back in the heat, of course, we waited for the car on the side of the road in the heat, in the sun, smelling gasoline (there are a lot of cars, and the road is narrow serpentine) Okay, I feel sorry for the small one.
6. Food - products. I do not advise you to order anything from them (soup from bags), sausages for breakfast at exorbitant prices. Although I liked the fish for dinner, but in Budva, of course, you can’t compare with port restaurants. The nearest store is 2 km away, carrying bags of groceries is an unpleasant pleasure. Add bottles of drinking water here. Especially if you are with a child and without a husband)) I don’t even want to describe all this! And you need everything - from fruits to washing powder and vegetable oil. Legs. . . legs. . .
7. The sea is clean, transparent, VERY cold. For me, in comparison - pure spring water. If there is sun - you swim, if there is no sun - you will not go. This time, the ear of the child and the snot "to the knees" with me. But I will make a reservation, for someone cold water in the heat is a pleasure. Who lived in a villa with children - all the kids were ill to a lesser or greater extent.

We rested at Villa Maslinac for almost a month with two children and were very pleased. We ordered apartments on our own via the Internet, contacted the owner and transferred an advance of 30%, as a result, accommodation for 28 days for 4 people cost 1320 euros. Location. The villa is located one and a half kilometers from the sea, but for us it was only a plus.

Firstly, every 2 hours there is a free shuttle to the sea and back. If, nevertheless, we stayed on the coast until late, then a taxi to the villa cost 2-3 euros. The advantage was that cars do not drive past the villa, that is, with a calm soul, you could let the children go for a walk, it was very quiet, a magnificent view of the sea opened from the mountain. The villa has a swimming pool, sunbeds and towels for free. The territory of the villa is also pleasing to the eye - olives, grapes, tangerines, small palm trees and unusual flower beds. The grapes were already ripe and we were allowed to pick them and eat them.
We had apartment No. 9 on the 1st floor, one large room with a kitchenette, a dining table, a wardrobe and two sofas, and a bedroom with one large double bed, a sofa and a wardrobe, a bathroom with a toilet, a sink and a shower, hot water has always been.
Nutrition. Each room is equipped with a small kitchen - there is a stove, refrigerator and necessary utensils. Quite often they cooked on their own, they bought products at the market in Budva - the prices are the same as in Russia, but the taste....It’s not even worth comparing, it’s not for nothing that Montenegro is recognized as the most environmentally friendly corner of Europe. In the evening, on the embankment near the Old Town, you can buy the freshest fish and seafood. There is also a cafe-bar in the villa, they cooked very tasty at affordable prices - the only feature: there is no menu, as such, they will cook whatever you want, only dinner must be ordered before lunch, so that you can buy the necessary products and cook. Well, coffee, tea, cocktails, ice cream can be ordered at any time. Be sure to try the cappuccino that Sonia prepares - it's just a fairy tale. Serbian Sonya is the soul and heart of the villa, the woman whose name is Charm!
Once a day we went to some cafe on the coast, usually a dinner for four without strong alcohol (beer does not count) cost 25-35 euros, the most visited was the Azzuro cafe near Splendid, very pleasant atmosphere, unobtrusive music, a varied menu and democratic prices.
Service. The room was cleaned every 3 days - cleaned very carefully, we left a tip of 2 euros. Change of bed and towels every 5 days. Moreover, if we asked to change the bed earlier (the child vomited), this did not cause any problems. Toilet paper is provided, but soap and shampoo must be bought on your own.
I would also like to note that we were met at the airport and taken directly to the villa (25 euros)
Excursions. We decided to explore the sights on our own. We bought a map of Montenegro and rented a car. Sonya herself called the rental service and agreed, the car was delivered directly to the villa, then they also picked it up themselves (renting a car on average 50-70 euros per day, including insurance). Gasoline is quite expensive at 1.5 euros per liter, but a small consumption of 5-7 liters offset this difference. For 2 days we drove all the coast, on the 3rd we went inland.
Separately, I would like to note a sea excursion, on the embankment in Budva you can hire a boat with a skipper for 25 euros per hour and enjoy the views of the Budva Riviera from the sea, I highly recommend it. Away from busy beaches, we enjoyed views of rocky shores and small grottoes, where the water is crystal clear. I even managed to swim there - the feeling is indescribable.
Recommendations. I strongly advise families with children and couples in love to rest on Maslinac, but if you like discos and parties, then it is probably better to look for housing closer to the coast; although a taxi is no problem.
Probably, my review will seem sugary-sweet to many, but the rest really left only the most optimistic impressions, except that the refrigerator rumbled loudly at night

Really very beautiful villa, apartments are new and well equipped. Lovely staff, especially Serbian Sonya, who takes care of the transfer from the hotel to the sea and works in a cafe, our son and daughter just fell in love with her. Now about the sad thing, it’s very far from the sea and if it’s really 20 minutes to go down the mountain, then it’s about an hour back up the mountain, and it’s impossible to climb at all with children.

Now about the sad thing, it’s very far from the sea and if it’s really 20 minutes to go down the mountain, then it’s about an hour back up the mountain, and it’s impossible to climb at all with children. The shuttle to the sea is not a minibus, but a small Japanese SUV like our Chevrolet Niva, the owner really has a minibus, he only uses it rarely and not willingly, very often they left the sea from the 2nd time, or took a taxi when they realized that We won’t even fit into the 2nd shuttle.
Our biggest disappointment is the huge construction site that unfolded under our windows, the mountain was hollowed out almost 24 hours a day with jackhammers, the break was only from 3 to 7 in the morning. I think comments are unnecessary. According to the owner, the European Union allocated money for treatment facilities and Montenegrins are actively developing them. In fairness, it should be noted that in other rooms it is not so audible, the windows of our room and the room below us went directly to the construction site.

So you walked all day, went, swam. And then you return to your olive villa, where Vladimir is already preparing dinner, where Sonya smiles and jokes at you when you meet. You are back and happy. Silence, mountains, sparkle of the sea, lanterns, blue pool and crickets. And my heart is calm and happy. Happy and calm. I won't forget these evenings.
