Speaking specifically about the hotel, it is frankly old! At least that was the case in 2008. The furniture was very worn out (we treated this as an oriental exotic), the bathrooms are the same as the furniture : )) When we checked in, we tried to take a shower, but it fell off when the water was turned on : ))) Fortunately, we rested with friends, washed ourselves in room! But the staff solved all the problems quickly and without a tip. Towels were changed every day. Cleaned only the room, the balcony did not even go. But If now they are renovating it, it will be a very excellent hotel. We had another awkward moment. We were warned that a promenade path was being built along the entire beach and we were chosen a hotel where the construction was completed. . . in the morning, going to the beach, we were surprised that right in front of the hotel, on the territory of our beach, there were concrete mixers, trucks with building materials arrived and work was in full swing from morning to evening : ))) Our guide offered to immediately move, but we stayed and went to the beach a little further : )) At the expense of excursions - I advise everyone to take them in travel agencies in the city center. We rented a car with a driver from an agency located near an English pub, and he drove us all over the country. . . we just talked during the day where we want and he came to the hotel at the appointed time. This way to see the country was half the price because we divided the amount by four!! ! Think about it if you are traveling with a group ; ) I advise Essaouira, we learned to surf there. And of course the unforgettable ocean. . . Oh yes. . . in Morocco, in hotels, as I understand it, there is no special animation, as in Turkey, and who needs it?!! ! : )
