Upon arrival, we were comfortably taken from Riga to the hotel. Transfer if booked with a tour operator cost 90 euros. If you take a taxi, and there is no problem with them, it will cost about 55 euros.
Hotel. The hotel is designed in a modern minimalist style. But the minus is its strong tiredness of the rooms. Furniture is frankly cheap. The rooms are small. The minibar is locked : ). Pros - a good aquazone, spa, a set of honey. procedures.
Nutrition. Breakfast is not bad, but you can eat like this for two or three days. Monotonous, small, boring. ON 4 * falls short. Lunch and dinner usually in the restaurants of Jurmala. The portions are large, almost everything was very tasty.
New Year's Eve. The program at the hotel was very mediocre. Table for 3. People were sitting nearby, celebrating the new year in this hotel two years ago, before the crisis, they said that everything was much brighter. By the way, the crisis is very much felt in Latvia.
And so, in general, I really liked the rest, a beautiful old city in Riga, a cozy snow-covered Jurmala... beauty.
Summary: the hotel is suitable for trips for 3-4 days, it is called a conference hotel, I do not recommend it for a long stay.
Breakfast - three stars
SPA - medium
Prices for procedures are close to Moscow.
The staff behaves with "cold" politeness, supposedly endure, tk. you leave money with them. A restaurant in a hotel with a claim to "High" cuisine, but not much like between 3 and 4, the choice is small. There was a superior room, at a price before the Suite, very small, furniture from IKEA, and all already shabby, TV of the last generation. I forgot the cord for my DVD player, there are no players for rent, they don’t really say where to buy, they say, watch paid channels. They pick up very badly. You can smoke only on the street (well, make you rooms for smokers - to hell with it with a restaurant) It was in February in the off season, so the crowds in the SPA (anyone can come for a small money), what is going on there in the season?
