I would like to recommend a great apartment in Unawatuna. The owners are a Russian family living in Sri Lanka for more than a year. The apartments were made in 2012, fully furnished and significantly different from the typical offers in Unawatuna for the better. Even if you don't plan on hosting parties and dinners every night, having a kitchen and a fridge is never a bad idea.
Monkeys came to visit us almost every day. Waking up in the morning to the sound of birds. And in the evening on the terrace, swaying in a hammock with a cup of tea.
