The hotel is not for those who are going to spend their holidays in the room or on the territory : ) but for the young and active - quite! The hotel is really located 3 minutes walk from the sea, if you go straight through the alleys. The room is bright, there is a balcony, the bed is large with a hard elastic mattress - the back does not hurt. Air conditioning works, no extra charge. Spacious bathroom, shower, hot water around the clock (sometimes you have to wait to warm up). Everything is tiled, neat. The room has a chest of drawers with a mirror, wardrobe, 2 chairs, TV, refrigerator, bedside table. A ceiling fan helps a lot. Fumigator with liquid in the socket. Wi-fi is free, but you need to ask to turn on the router, because they apparently do not need it and turn it off. We asked a couple of times, then they turned it on immediately when we arrived.
On the 3rd floor there is an open terrace.
We asked for a kettle, they gave us no problems and surcharges.
Cleaning in a day. Towels are changed, the bed seemed that through time, I'm not sure.
For breakfast there was a fruit plate (pineapple, banana, papaya), scrambled eggs, toast with butter and jam, tea coffee. Time can be agreed upon. We generally then moved breakfast to dinner and asked to replace the eggs. As a result, we were given fruit, pasta, curry fish, boiled eggs and "sri lanka food" in the evening - their local sauce + tea / coffee.
Of the staff, the director, with whom you can discuss and find out everything - a pleasant, polite person, speaks English quite well, visits the hotel in the morning. And the caretaker - he cleans and cooks and is ready to help in everything, very pleasant and courteous. He understands the simplest words in English, so it is better to negotiate everything with the director. There is no pushiness from the staff.
There is no territory in the hotel. In fact, it is more like a guest house, only with / in each room.
If you don’t expect anything extra from a 2-star hotel, then there are essentially no shortcomings. Personally, I missed a table in the room, some kind of rope on the balcony for drying clothes and shelves / bedside tables in the bathroom. A safe would be useful.
And so, with an adequate approach - quite a good hotel : )
