Brought fate to this hotel while we were in transit through Sri Lanka. If we knew in advance what awaits us, we would not agree to anything! The beach is dirty, the waves are huge, swimming is life-threatening. Even the locals don't swim. And you won’t even be able to reach the ocean: merchants won’t let you through. The guards do not let them into the hotel, so if you want at least a little peace of mind, lie on the territory under a palm tree and watch the ocean from afar. The territory is also small.
The rooms are very uncomfortable, the furniture is shabby, there is mold in the bathroom, interruptions in hot water. The audibility is good, especially in the bathroom, since the ventilation from there goes straight into the corridor : ) The bed and towels smell strange... maybe they are scented?
The staff speaks excellent English only when it comes to paying bills, in other cases they freeze or, at best, say that they will "call". Naturally, no one calls.

By the way, be careful: regardless of the type of food that you paid for, they will try to swindle you for money, saying that "in fact, you bought cut-down food, and you will have to pay extra to have breakfast or dinner. " Don't get fooled! Contact the guide (if possible), argue, prove... Although here again the staff can turn on the frost and allegedly "do not understand. "
Pleasant moments include chipmunks living on the territory and beautiful sunsets.
Maybe it's all about high expectations from the "troika", I don't know : (
I wish everyone to be careful in choosing and, if you choose this hotel, the sanity of the staff and a good rest.
Good luck!
