The most pleasant impressions remained about the hotel, however, as well as about the country and about the people living in it.
Hotel: cozy, clean, with a small territory, fenced. This creates a kind of security and peace, as outsiders cannot enter from the beach. There are two swimming pools on the territory. Beach towels are provided without cards. They can be used on site. The beach is municipal public, which allows you to walk on it for hours (which we did). The ocean is calm here. If you go to the left of the beach exit, there is the Chaaya Tranz Hotel 4 *. Huge turtles come to the lagoon of this hotel every morning at 10.00-11.00. If you go further along the coast, the ocean is already restless. For surfers, the most it is, there is equipment rental. The food at the hotel is excellent. Meat, fruit and seafood are plentiful. We took breakfast + dinner. Complimentary drinks include tea or coffee for dinner.
If you leave the hotel and go to the right, a ten-minute walk opposite the CITRUS HOTEL 4 * there is a good supermarket where you can buy everything you need. On the left side of the hotel in about seven minutes is a fruit market. Fruits are very tasty, worth a penny. Excursions were taken from a local Sri Lankan named Siri. Go out to the beach and immediately under the tree on the left, he usually sits beckoning tourists. It is absolutely safe to ride with him. Negotiate the price yourself, but be sure to bargain. The excursions were organized at the highest level. Realizing that we did not have time to return for dinner, Siri phoned the hotel and arranged for us to have dinner in the room. Sandwiches and fruits turned out to be very useful)) Before the trip (in case of an early departure for an excursion), ask the reception for breakfast to take with you, having previously informed the departure time. You can also ask to be awakened. The room is good, deluxe, on the second floor overlooking the ocean.

In the evening it is pleasant to sit on the balcony, breathe the sea air and admire the ocean. Cleaning and change of towels daily. The room had air conditioning, TV, safe, refrigerator, kettle (tea, coffee, sugar, cream replenished as needed). There is a mini bar in the fridge for a fee.

Summary: the country is beautiful, the people are kind and helpful, the service is at a decent level. The memories are wonderful. Sri Lanka is the place where you always want to return!
