Villa. . .
More like a guest house for two families.
The plans were to rest in a secluded, quiet place, where there is a calm beach with a few vacationers. And no building work nearby.
The fact that it would be Dikwella was determined immediately. But with the choice of hotels is more difficult. He is alone here.
When looking for options, Bloom Villa turned up. There were no reviews, but they took a chance.
The first impression - corresponds to the declared photo on the site.
Settlement is fast. Staff coming, promptly responding to comments.
Clean, modest, no frills. Wi-Fi "catches" well, although the speed can be higher.
Room - pencil case, 4x8m
The room has a large bed, a bedside table, a linen closet, a dresser with a mirror, and a bookcase for hanging linen.
Bedding: pillows are too small for me))) There are no blankets, and it's so warm. Change of towels every day, no need to wait.
The room is equipped with air conditioning. NO more home appliances. No TV, no hair dryer, no iron - no.
From the room there is access to the combined bathroom - all in one shower, sink and toilet. The shower part is not fenced off from the rest by anything. Haven't figured out how to get hot water.
From Toiletries: a bar of soap and a roll of toilet paper. So take shampoos and lotions with you.
The kitchenette is small. If two families live, they will have to cook in shifts. In the kitchen: gas stove, sink, cabinets, cabinets, electric kettle, a minimum set of dishes is present.
The inner courtyard is small. Small terrace.
We were lucky, almost all the time the second room was empty. What else is lucky? The answer is simple - two families are cramped. And there are only two beds available. Only at the end of our stay, another family with a child, from the Czech Republic, moved in. Hi Peter)))
In the room, as well as throughout the house, the floor is tiled. Ants are invading the kitchen. A couple of times in the room I caught a small harmless gecko.
Chipmunks roam the yard in the morning. I saw peacocks, but they do not bother with their cries. Nature in all its glory.
Probably it’s worth warning right away, the local staff is more focused on the English-speaking audience. But this does not interfere with communication, rather a minor discomfort. A minimum knowledge of English is required. We were met by the elder Indika and his assistant Kumar.
Our tour was with a prepaid breakfast. For breakfast, scrambled eggs, sandwiches and a cup of coffee with fruit. The rest of the food in nearby cafes. Shrimps were cooked a couple of times in the kitchen. Kumar helped with the purchase of fruits, and visits to shops and fish markets, he has his own Tuk-tuk.
As you know, there is no entertainment, except for the ocean. Entertaining yourself is another task. But then Indica came to the rescue. Through him, the issue with excursions was resolved. For which special thanks to him.
Exit from the yard directly to the ocean, up to 50 meters from the water. But more often went to the nearby beach. There, the waves are smaller, and the turtles swim. Ocean, surf, wave - beauty.
Now about comfort. Privacy, peace and quiet were expected.
It didn't turn out quite right. Once a month they have a holiday on the full moon, we just got there))), they listened to singing almost until midnight. In addition, the neighbor on the right started repairing his "villa". The instruments have been working since seven in the morning. During the day, the noise did not interfere, it is not heard on the neighboring beach.
There are dogs on all the beaches, I don't know why, but it seems they are everywhere.
In general, there were pleasant impressions. There were no high requirements for the villa. If you want sophistication and comfort - this is not here.
I don’t write about the ocean, the nature of the island, the beaches. Everything is gorgeous.
Here about the living conditions, call)))
