A few days passed after our return (were resting with my wife).
Passions subsided, but I HAVE to tell you about this hotel.
The worst hotel I have ever seen, but everything is in order.
1. It was a good hotel before the tsunami.
2. The hosts do absolutely NOTHING there, they stupidly thump along with the guests.
3. There are no umbrellas on the beach, and the sun loungers were probably made by the colonists.
4. There is no hot water in the hotel.
5. The cabinets are so dirty that I didn't even open my suitcase.
6. There is no infrastructure in the area (this is a fishing village).
7. We had a "half board" - mostly pasta and fries, although the food is not so bad, if nowhere else to compare. At a distance of about 2 km (200 rupees for a tuk-tuk) there is a cafe "SunFlower", there is an order of magnitude cheaper and tastier.
8. The rooms are not cleaned (well, only if you do not take out their brains for 3 days).
nine.
Monitor lizards crawl around the hotel, the backyard of the hotel overlooks the lake, there are monitor lizards, and rather large specimens, and the lake has no separation from the dining room (reception).
10. The pool, yes it is, but it is small and muddy (no one cleans it).
11. Night gatherings until 2-3 nights under the windows are a common thing (it is impossible to sleep).
12. Air conditioners are in a terrible state and work at 30 percent of their capacity. So the room was cooling down by about 4 am.
I'm sure I missed something, but I told you the main thing.
I am not picky and was able to relax even in such conditions (we just went to another hotel 60 km from this place).
Don't repeat my mistakes. Have a nice rest!

We rested in this hotel from March 2 to March 15.2019! In fact, when choosing this hotel, we knew where we were going, in the reviews everyone writes: "The hotel is old, dirty, the food is not very good, the rooms are not cleaned, etc. ! " This is all true! You have to ask to be cleaned. So, even on the way in the bus, we realized that the fishing village where the hotel is located is still that garbage dump, with an indescribable smell and garbage heaps dumped along the road and the coast.

When we were settled in a room on the second floor, overlooking the "pond", we knew from the reviews of tourists that there was no TV, refrigerator, safe, kettle, but damn the condition of the room itself left much to be desired, the floor was dusty, the toilet did not work, the doors the closet is broken, the air conditioner is barely breathing, there is no fan, there is no mosquito net, even during the day there are a lot of mosquitoes on the ceiling and walls, there is black mold on the bottom of the walls, especially in the shower room, okay, at least the bed linen was clean! Then it turned out that there was also hot water constant problems! So we are not very fastidious, but we believe that the most necessary things should function normally! At the hotel we only had breakfasts, every day two scrambled eggs, salad, two mini sausages, toasts with butter and jam, pieces of fruit, "coffee" and tea with hot milk! Lunch and dinner can, in principle, be at the hotel, but it’s much cheaper to go to Beruvella or Bentota, it tastes better and there are more dishes to try, so the choice is yours! If you give food to the refrigerator in the kitchen, sign the room number, and then the locals confuse everything all the time and give your package to others, and then they shrug their shoulders, like “What have we got to do with it? ” And besides, very often they put beer and other products in the freezer, you can be left without evening beer drinking, it was like that with us, and bribes are smooth from them: "We don't understand yours, don't understand me" ! ! yes, yes, a real tick, so look around yourself, don’t relax after walking! The pond that I wrote about above is actually not a pond, but a breeding ground for mosquitoes and a sewage sump that drains there from nearby houses, we ourselves saw this when they went for a walk! And about three days before our departure, this pond was poured into the ocean, can you imagine what water and the amount of garbage was on the beach ! ! The beach itself is basically normal, moderately clean, though if it weren’t for the fishermen throwing the remains of fish into the water and draining the pond, it would be generally wonderful! We liked to relax on the sun loungers, there are places in the sun and in the shade. The pool is normal, the water is periodically cleaned and updated, we hung out there in the evenings with a beer. There is also a good beach on the right side of the hotel, behind the cape, where the water is calm and clean, there are also normal guys who work there sometimes, they cook shrimp and fish just super. We ordered oysters from them, they beat them right there from the stones and bring them with lime, oysters are just fire and inexpensive! more those! We read in the reviews before the trip about tuk-tukers, everyone is directly scattered in gratitude, but for us it’s just business guys, to put it mildly, at first they drove us for free, but only to their outlets, where everything is sold at exorbitant prices, and at the end of the holiday we ceased to interest them, we already knew where to go, they refused to take us for free under various pretexts. Carefully negotiate with the hotel guide Sasha, we then learned to break him off at prices for excursions, but for others he set the prices of the tour operator, and he told us to be silent, a cunning beetle, and his trips can hardly be called excursions, rather the delivery of bodies to a place with independent sightseeing! In short, there are positive and negative points in this hotel, you can live anywhere, even in prison, the choice is yours! We do not recommend, you need to think ten times before going to this hotel!

Hotel tin!! ! Don't look at the photo!! ! We read the reviews but it's clear they wrote it themselves. A very tired building, the rooms are dead, we only took breakfast and at first they gave 2 fried eggs and then one at a time so that not the residents cook badly, the owners of the hotel are constantly hanging out, arrogant and not pleasant in appearance, the recreation area is dirty, there is a lot of garbage for them all anyway, light, that is, no, the water is the same.
