Rested with a friend in March 2011 at Tropical Villas in Beruwala. . Everything in the hotel is simple, but comfortable and cozy, at home : ))) very quiet, family, I would say hotel. . . the staff is polite, but few people understand Russian, so arm yourself with English : )) the way to the beach through the Riverina Hotel (4 *) is 2-3 minutes! clear water, sand, sun!!! ! In general, we are very pleased with the rest! we really liked Sri Lanka! ! even in the small volume in which we managed to see it! ! We went on excursions with Lulu (he speaks good Russian, studied it for 8 months. We were lucky : )), given that there are few Russian-speaking guides in Sri Lanka), I read a lot about him even before leaving, when I was looking for reviews about the hotel. . and he approached us himself on the beach. . He is there every day, if not on excursions. . . He also has a brother (native) Luba, who "specializes" in English-speaking tourists. . . They did not regret at all that they spent the entire time on vacation accompanied by Lulu: on a two-day excursion to Sigiriya-Kandy, in the Ayurvedic center, they watched local sights. . . then we had a chance to visit his house at a party. Sarah (that's his mother's name) cooked curry for us. . . very nice, pleasant in all respects, family. . . I can say that I will definitely return to Sri Lanka, there is still something left to see!!!! !
