Sri Lanka is a country like no other.
Rested with her husband at the hotel "The Palms" for 10 days. The country and the hotel fully met our expectations, the hotel corresponds to the declared 4 *.

The food is very tasty and varied, a lot of meat and fish dishes, a lot of fruits, extraordinarily tasty vegetables and sauces, juices. Spicy and non-spicy dishes are presented separately. (There is not enough food only for those who paid only for breakfast and thought that there would be seafood and 5 types of meat for breakfast).
Service.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and if you ask for something they do it right away. Cleaning and linen change daily. Don't forget a small tip for the staff. The hotel area is large and green, everything is clean. Chipmunks jump around the territory and monitor lizards roam, many beautiful birds, in the evenings a small gecko runs onto the balcony (do not forget to take not salted nuts for chipmunks).
Entertainment.
Unobtrusive animation is present almost every day. In the evenings, go shopping on a tuk-tuk, ask, do not be shy, to be taken to stores where it is cheaper (and the goods are the same). Bargain in the shops too.
If you are a lover of just a beach holiday - you are not in Sri Lanka (there are warmer countries much closer). But if you love animals, birds, flowers, nature and people - this country will remain in your heart forever. Be sure to buy a Yalla National Park excursion - jeep safari and venture out to take a boat trip to see the whales (we were lucky, we saw very close). We bought all excursions from the beach boy Semyon (local phone 778103130, you will find him on the beach or in the first cafe on the left), he is a responsible and decent person, knows Russian quite well, we highly recommend him. Bargain, do not be shy, and the more people, the cheaper the tour. You don’t need to contact the hotel guide Roma, firstly because you won’t find him, and even when you find him, he will break such prices, and then you will still run around looking for him to get something out of it.
