We rested from 01/01/14 to 01/11/14. The hotel was very good, everything was as described. Loved the ocean, swam in it every day. Who will rest in Sri Lanka - please note that it takes only an hour and a half to fly from Sri Lanka to the Maldives, it's a sin not to fly : )
We flew for 2 days, bought the tickets ourselves via the Internet, booked the hotel through Booking. Round-trip flight for 2 people - costs about $500. Hotels - for different wallets : )
We traveled around the city by tuk-tuk with Izuru - this is a local driver, guide, taxi driver - a very good person, we didn’t understand how we agreed to his services : ), we just remember that he said that he had a trip to anywhere city ​ ​ and back - just one dollar. He is so calm, good-natured, with a pleasant energy. Unlike other drivers, he seems to be on the client's side, i. e. us, constantly haggling with the locals for the price, taking us to the bank with the best exchange rate, constantly picking up purchases and taking them to tuk tuk and recommending which places to buy and which not.

In general, the rest is super, I really did not want to leave.
We went to Galle, to a turtle farm, to the Buddha Temple and ride an elephant.
The guide was never seen at the hotel, she did not come at the appointed time, then she wrote a note in which she asked us to come the next day, but even then we did not find her.
