We chose this hotel based on the reviews and have no regrets! It is located on the coast, has its own small beach with breakwaters and a large, very beautiful beach nearby, but there are very big waves.
The hotel itself is small, 3 floors, 18 rooms. The rooms are very modest, with a minimum of furniture, but what can you expect from a 2*? It is always funny to read dissatisfied reviews from those who choose a 2 * hotel and expect 5 * amenities and service. Air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, cups and glasses. If something is missing, you can ask, they will give it without any problems.
The administrators Sasha and Kristina are very welcoming and friendly. Hello guys! ) Everyone showed, told, helped in everything. Manager Zhenya took on excursions, organized everything, thank you very much!

We had breakfast. The portions are quite decent, we had no complaints. For breakfast, a hot dish (fried eggs with sausages, scrambled eggs or oatmeal), fruit salad, fresh juice, tea or coffee (coffee in Sri Lanka is terrible! ), toast, butter, jam. We dined and dined in different places, more often at the hotel or at John's, it's nearby, the guys will show. Very tasty and cheap. The shrimp and fish are amazing. There is no meat! At all! Even if you see it somewhere on the menu - it's better not to risk it, well, the hotel will warn you about it. Local beer is quite decent, there is no wine, rum and arak (coconut vodka) are very personal. By the way, you can buy alcohol only in specialized stores, there are not many of them, the nearest one is 15 minutes away from the hotel. In restaurants, at best, there is beer, and even then not in all (the license is expensive), so count on yourself.
The ocean is beautiful, the weather too, in January both were 30-32 degrees.
The atmosphere in the hotel is very pleasant, like at home. Youth and families with children may be bored, there is no entertainment, but if you are in the mood for a relaxing beach holiday, I recommend it! Yes, they offer a lot of excursions and inexpensively, it’s cheaper to book at a hotel than from a guide.
