Seoul, Korea. New acquaintance, with a new country
While still in Africa, I decided that after the black continent, I would go to a civilized country. Chose South Korea. Why this country? A little tired of the European rolling on our Russia. Tired of threats and sanctions, constantly sounding in all media. I do not want to go into details, who is right and who is wrong. True, some Russians are not a gift. There are sins for which you can not love them. South Korea is not a quarrelsome country in this plan, like the people themselves. She became my 117th country.
Yesterday, March 27.2018, I flew on the route Krasnodar-Moscow-Irkutsk - Seoul. The first part of the flight was at an average level. Airplane food was pretty boring, so I skipped it. It's better to be hungry than to eat food you don't like. Arrived in Irkutsk in the morning. The city turned out to be as unkempt as it was 37 years ago.
The arrival airport turned out to be below average, although something was being updated, but I had to stomp in the cold to the international airport. When I entered it, I realized that many airports in Russia for overseas departures are still very far from perfection. Irkutsk International Airport, it sucks. Was struck by grayness and dirt. Apparently, it is designed for the mass Chinese and Mongols, whom I saw flying away to their homeland. I spent 4 hours in this sump before boarding the plane to Seoul. The planes are small, without cinema and alcohol, although they flew for six hours. The stewardess throughout the flight warned that drinking and smoking is strictly prohibited. The flight from Moscow was at night, so all passengers were given wraps. My neighbors asked for three at once. When everyone calmed down, my neighbors in the row covered themselves with three blankets, and the “tumbling” began. Apparently, they do not have the conditions for “this” at home.
Interestingly, he is thin, and she is very full, but their excitement was repeated until the morning. I had to constantly kick his legs off my knees. Sleep failed.
I arrived in Seoul at 15:45. The airport is spacious and modern. I changed some money, bought a ticket for a limousine bus 15.000 won (1.000 won = 52 rubles), which in an hour took me to the place of my Pacific Hotel 15.650 rubles per day, 172.150 rubles for the entire stay. Very good food. I recommend this hotel. European-style hotels in Seoul, in the center, are very expensive, and budget hotels have very small rooms of five square meters, a mattress on the floor and no furniture. The room is decent. I liked the electronic toilet, which does everything for me. It was nice to spend time on it. Near Myeong-Dong subway. Very convenient location for trips around the city. I bought a Tmoney pass for all modes of transport, and immediately put 50.000 won (about 7.900 rubles) on it, it seems like too much, but I have to be in Seoul for 11 days.
After settling in, he went out for a walk. I liked everything. Great food which I love. Crabs are very expensive, which the Koreans catch in our waters. I am posting the first photos of Seoul.
