My review can be called - "How we spent a week in the Marina and did not spoil our rest and mood. "
A five-hour flight by a Nordwing charter is another test, it's hard. Uncomfortable chairs, God bless him that they don’t feed, they took with them, but the problem with drinking on the sides is either water or some kind of ridiculous lemonade. It's not even economy, but I don't know what. Well, it’s certainly difficult for small children, think about whether your child can spend these five hours without constant screaming. And what to feed him in the hotel, they did not see baby food. This is so, a small cry from the heart, however, it seems to me that those who are concerned do not read the reviews anyway.
We clearly imagined where and why we were going - to swim in the likeness of the Red Sea, in the absence of the Egyptian coast, and go to Petra. Before buying a tour, we carefully read all the previous reviews. They didn’t find anything particularly terrible for themselves, looked at the map, looked at the photos, and bought it. All inclusive in the Jordanian version did not impress us, we chose a full board and bought a half-liter electric teapot. Therefore, we always had tea, regardless of the time of day, queues and cups . . Very convenient. It is not worth the tantrums that unprepared tourists throw. Alcohol in a small amount also took their own, who are used to what.

But, actually, the arrival. We arrived early, probably at 8-9 o'clock, it was already forgotten. Realizing that it’s pointless to expect check-in earlier than 2 pm or even later, we changed clothes (a swimsuit, slippers, a T-shirt, shorts were prepared in advance, so that it would be convenient to get it right away), asked the reception for a card for towels, got them and left before lunch at the sea, so as not to waste precious time. It is not clear why sit all day in a hotel, wait for check-in and then complain about it. At the same time, they scouted where everything was, shops, a bank, changed money, bought water. So far, 2 to 1.5 liters for the first time, although I also had it in my suitcase just in case. By 12-30 we returned for lunch, while we had lunch, we were already given the keys. It would never have occurred to me to wait for our luggage to be brought to us, our suitcases are small, they took it and went to the room. Yes, and walk 20 meters, the hotel is very small. Sea view, second floor, quiet, calm. Everything is there and everything works fine. They left their things, went to the sea until the evening.
We went to the left beach, from the Movenpick side, there are at least some corals there and the sea is cleaner than from the Radisson side. Lots of jellyfish. Unpleasant creatures, touch it by accident and want to jump out of the water. But who knows, she probably does too. In the sea only in slippers! Rocky bottom, lots of hedgehogs. A separate and huge minus of the entire village of Tala Bay is the lack of toilets on the beaches. The rest can be experienced. Of course, the sunbeds are shabby and uncomfortable, very few for such a number of tourists, but we spent most of our time at sea, so we didn’t lie too much on our sides. In the same place, in the Marina Market, we bought a 17.5-liter bottle of water, 320 rubles with our money, very convenient, it was enough for us for a week.
Canteen and meals. For us, it's acceptable. I always say that we go to the sea not to eat. No matter what time we came, we always found a place, cutlery, and something to eat. . It's not difficult for us to go for forks / spoons and napkins ourselves. Yes, it’s monotonous, but it’s quite possible to survive a week, I think that not everyone cooks 10 meals every day at home. We were more pleased with the freshest cauliflower and broccoli, you can eat chicken at home. Pilaf is also good, so what, every day, they didn’t have time to get used to it. Soups are not very, but always. Yes, the staff is not ready for such an influx, yes, they do not have time. But ours are also good, not only are there a mountain of plates, and not just one (I don’t believe that a normal sane person can eat all this! ), but also if it suddenly comes with this plate and suddenly - watermelon ! ! then this watermelon is superimposed on top of pilaf, chicken, fish . . while you run away for another plate, everyone will grab it . . It's a shame. Again, these queues for tea in the morning are in almost all budget hotels, it's a pity that we weren't advised about a teapot before. Very comfortably. No one was poisoned, and they did not hear that there would be problems with us.
The contingent, yes, mostly like in the old Soviet boarding houses with some international and local bias. There is no entertainment at all, no need to go there hoping to hang out and have fun. At first we walked around the village in the evenings, then we swam so much that we immediately went to sleep and in the morning again at sea. The country is focused on sightseeing holidays and a little beach.

Guides. Perhaps we did not have problems with them, because we do not create them for ourselves. Delivered and delivered on time and well. We went on excursions with a local guide, we were satisfied.
Sea. This is not an alternative to Egypt!! ! There are almost no corals. Pisces can be said, too. Regarding poisonous and dangerous fish - they have always lived there and will live, it is we who climb to them, and not they to us. Yes, winged. They didn’t see terribly poisonous ones anymore, the snakes are deep enough, you just can’t get it. Hedgehogs. Exclusively in slippers, which makes the Jordanian coast inconvenient for families with children. Or only the Radisson beach and from the pontoon. There are no toilets. The beach is dirty, a lot of glass, a lot of garbage from the sea. Good thing the water is clean. Unlike Egypt, the beaches are not cleaned at all. It's unfortunate. Again, the orientation towards the rest of wealthy Arab families and the abundance of all kinds of watercraft does not make it possible to swim without restrictions.
The country is expensive, the prices make your eyes pop. My medicine, which is produced in Jordan, is twice as expensive as ours. For medical care - firstly, everything is written in the insurance, and the guides say - the doctor does not come to the hotel! Think for yourself and be prudent, no one will run to help you.
If someone expects to buy something at Aqaba Airport upon departure, you can say no duty free there, and indeed there is nothing at all. The airport is not designed that almost 500 people will hang around there for 3 hours.
From our point of view, this is a simple, budget hotel for those who are determined to sleep off, swim, sunbathe, touch ancient history, not paying attention to minor domestic troubles, at home there are much more of these problems. It is foolish for such money to count on the level of hotels on the Cote d'Azur. We liked. But most likely we will not go a second time, we like the Gulf of Aqaba more from the side of Egypt.
