Jordan. . upon arrival, the Amman airport reminded me of the Central Department Store of the regional center, it seemed small and nondescript. . there, as in the Emirates, you undergo a retinal scan, I have nothing against it, for our own safety. . . in the same place at the airport you can change money for the local currency - dinars and pay for the "visa" We were met by the girl Yana and provided us with the driver Alli, who put us in his minivan and took us to the hotel. There we went through the "metal detector, like at the airport and stayed in the lobby, waiting for Yana. She practically came for us with tourists who were going to our hotel, the conversation was short, offering 3 excursions, leaving us a phone number, realizing that we while we “think” about excursions, she lost any interest in us, we didn’t see her again, before moving to Aqaba she called back one more time and that’s it! . Amman-DEAD SEA SPA 4, acquaintance with Jordan began from this hotel. We, a family of 4, were accommodated in a chalet, not far from the restaurant, they took us in an electric car, gave us an e-card and wished us a pleasant stay. . So many cats, I have never seen in my life, life is for survival! They yelled and climbed from-oh-everywhere, hungry, earless, eyeless. . oh well, now it's not about them. . . we had a kettle in the room, in bags: tea, cream, coffee, sugar and two 0.33 liters of water. . Definitely recommend to take breakfast and dinner. . . since the nearest store is 30-45 km away. . . In the restaurant - to drink - for a fee. . . 3 small coffee cups of tea will cost you 12 dinars!! ! 4 per cup. . and so in all hotels in Jordan.... one more nuance - in all hotels it is forbidden to bring your own food and drink (alcohol, especially), but more on that later. . I should have talked about this earlier, I just lost my thoughts. . . We had a tour - 3 days on the Dead Sea + 4 days on the Red Sea. Let's continue - the food is good, you won't leave hungry. Nobody bothered us all three days. True, on the second day, we agreed with the locals, and for half the price, we went to the hot springs at EVASION MAIN SPA 5 * for 2 hours - pleasure !! ! having arrived at the hotel for lunch, I finally swam in the Dead Sea ! ! ! I didn’t climb out of there for 2 hours, because it was warmer in the sea than on the shore. By the way, there is a bucket of mud on the beach and everyone can put it on for free. Three days passed like one day. And now we are going to the Red Sea !! ! Alli came for us, which was very happy, especially our children. We had almost half the country to go, and we agreed that we would stop by for 2 hours in Petra. Jordan is really a poor country, and besides the desert, insanely beautiful mountains, there is nothing to look at. On the other hand, Petra, this is really impressive, although the local population spoiled the impression, which strives to cheat you for money. While my husband was buying tickets to Petra, a bunch of people swarmed around us, who swarmed around us like "flies". before we had time to enter the territory of Petra, they put my children on horses and informed us that we had a ticket with horses. . . I immediately doubted very much, but it was already too late, the children were taken away and I had no choice but to catch up with them. . . in general, "bakhshish" amounted to about 40 dinars, for 40 meters. . . Petra is a miracle that delights, a city of red stone, though in 2 hours, we didn’t see much, but it impressed us !! ! And finally we are in Aqaba. "Hilton", at the reception while we were being checked out, each of us was brought warm cookies with chocolate and settled on the 4th floor. The usual not very large room, in beige and chocolate tones, clean and comfortable. The room has the same set: kettle, water, coffee, tea bags. Breakfasts and dinners in the restaurant on the 2nd floor. Free water and juices for breakfast, extra charge for dinner. There is a separate wine restaurant. Beach-transfer, paid, to a good, well-groomed beach, 15 minutes from the hotel. The bus went 3 times - to the beach, and 3 times from the beach. . . but very often back, there were not enough places !! ! as tourists are collected not only from our hotel. The hotel has internet. On the last day, my husband went for a walk with his son for souvenirs, since there were no large supermarkets nearby, I didn’t see them at all, there was an oriental market nearby, I stayed in the room. The husband comes and says that he bought 2 bottles of wine. To my question, where are they? He replied that they were taken at the entrance, and they will give them back when we go to the airport, which amused me. . . They have a special room and there are stored things that cannot be brought into the hotel. . . In the morning we were met again by our old friend Alli, who took us with a breeze to Amman, to the airport. Goodbye Jordan!! !
