The overturned drawer from the bureau perfectly served as a table. Now the cons. Check-in on arrival in the most "standard" rooms with a view of the backyard in the complete absence of the sun throughout the day. It is visible for the test. If you are persistent, they will immediately move you to a decent room on the 2nd or 3rd floor, and if you pay 200-300 euros for all two weeks, then with a balcony overlooking the sea. With a paid beach, you will be provided with an umbrella with two sun loungers. A sunbed for horizontal lying is an additional option for 10 euros per day. Do not go to the pool - there is no sea water in it, only bleach and even hot. The sea is better, very warm, the most delicate sand, but sometimes unclear, sometimes with jellyfish (not evil). Yes, more about the hotel service. If you are promised to solve any issue within five minutes, do not believe it and calmly go for a swim. The issue will be resolved in two or three hours. With full benevolence towards you. They just don't know how to do it any other way. They don't work fast. Spoiled and lazy. This applies to all aspects of life. They are always late (buses, trains, planes). Railway transport is incredibly cheap, use it when traveling around the area (Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Sienna, Portofino), but be aware that being late for 2-3 hours is normal and do not freak out, but take return tickets in advance. The architecture in Italy is awesome, there is something to see, but it’s better without fanaticism, otherwise it will take all the time and not enough. Shopping is also good, but this is a separate issue. . . A special minus (huge) is the host. We had "Jet-Travel" manager Natalia. To say bad is to say nothing. First, there is an increase in prices for excursions by 2-3 times against those announced earlier. In case of refusal, there is an offer for individual excursions for 350-400 euros. If you refuse, they disappear completely until the end of the holiday. We are not interested in them. Disgusting! Car rental is not good either. . About the beach (the most desirable thing for us northerners). For an umbrella with two chairs on the hotel beach, we were charged 20 !! ! euro per day. If you want also a sunbed, plus 10 euros per day!! ! At the same time, the places were given the most distant. By the sea, according to the explanations of the glorious Italians, the places are all booked. By whom and when is unknown. The closest number we managed to get after a lot of bickering -9! ! The room is large, with access to a blank wall. The safe didn't work, they fixed it for three days. The toilet didn't close at all. The door lock didn't work. Yes, our room was located right under the terrace which had live music every evening. This "happiness" began around 11.30 pm, when animation programs in Europe usually end. At the same time, the singers probably believed that the louder they sing, the better. The room was cleaned well. Breakfast food is good, but repetitive. Dinner is complete rubbish. Do not take trips with dinner. I will not recommend this hotel to my friends.

The hotel staff are very friendly, but they do not bother with excessive attention. In general, in terms of quality and price, this hotel is perhaps the best in the expensive resort of Viareggio! There is a park next to the hotel where you can rent bicycles.

There is a park next to the hotel where you can rent bicycles. Numerous shops of famous brands stretch along the sea line to the whole city, with prices 3 times lower than in Moscow! The only thing I would like to warn future tourists:
1. Viareggio is located in close proximity to the airport of Pisa, so refuse to fly through Genoa, otherwise you will have a 3-hour bus ride and no tax-free points at the airport.
2. Do not buy the beach (no matter how the hotel employees advise) for the entire stay, as it turns out to be expensive (on average 200 euros for 10 days), and there is no guarantee that you will get there every day. There are many wonderful cities around that are worth visiting, of course, if a beach holiday is not your priority.
And finally! This is not my first visit to Italy! But it was in this city and in this hotel that I wanted to return again!
