I didn't choose the hotel. My husband took care of the whole trip. I chose it solely for the location, and even some kind of discount was present. You know he wasn't wrong at all! The hotel is located in an old building from the 15th and 16th centuries, a few minutes walk from San Marco. Past the Cathedral of St. Mark, past the Square with the Lion, dive into a small street, and you are at the hotel. The rooms are not big, one might even say small, but everything you need is there. The air conditioner worked (it was hot enough), hair dryer, shower accessories, good bed. Furniture, stylized antique, just fascinated me. Worked wi-fi. The staff is moderately friendly. From the window, a view of a typical Venetian building on the other side of a narrow canal. But the views from the top floor are interesting. Breakfast, continental. The tables are already set. Coffee, it seemed to me instant, croissant, jams, etc. We had breakfast once. we went to bed very late, and having breakfast in Venice is not a problem. But late walks will not be a problem! For a stop for 3 nights and late walks in Venice, it’s even nothing. We were finally able to enjoy the Laguna until late at night!
