Stayed because of inexpensive accomodation. I got to the center of Florence and the train station by bus + tram, 1.5 hour ticket is enough for a one-way trip for two transports. The hotel itself does not pull a four, a solid three. The room has a shower, beds, a small LCD TV. If you spend the night, it will do, I do not recommend for a long stay.

Food buffet, no frills, but you will not be hungry. Nearby is a huge supermarket with prices for the "local" (not tourist), you can buy quite high-quality products and spirits at a reasonable price. Another minus is that tourist groups often stop at the hotel, two buses with Chinese drove into my visit, with all the ensuing consequences.
Also, the air conditioner did not work in the room, but since it was in autumn there was no heat.
