The three of us went for a week. Maybe the solar eclipse had an effect, but the adventures began already at the airport (flying from Sheremetyevo, Italian airlines BLU PANORAMA). We decided to get to the airport ourselves by Aeroexpress - very convenient, 35 minutes on the way. We got out at the airport - there is a board in front of us - there is no our flight (ours at 13.50 - the last one on the board is 13.40). We decided to wait a bit, after 20 minutes the situation did not change, we went to look for another scoreboard, we found it, our flight departed at 14.05 FROM ANOTHER TERMINAL! We ran to look for a shuttle to terminal C, having found it, we realized that this was the last one on which we could leave, because then the shuttles had a BREAK !! ! 1 hour. The airport employee slowly peering at the screen said that he didn’t see our flight at all, that of course we could go to terminal C, but under our responsibility, for some time we convinced him that we really needed to go there. We waited for the shuttle for 20 minutes, climbed in with difficulty, arrived, losing another 25 minutes. At Sheremetyevo, they search around every corner, and by the way, you need to pick up the suitcase and put it on the conveyor belt and so on 5-6 times !! ! And the suitcase is heavy and I'm not Hercules! Searched. In Duty Free, the same story - not only are the prices not "duty free" at all, but the cashiers are in no hurry at all. They flew well. The mood was overshadowed by the fact that one of our suitcases was opened and thoroughly rummaged in a cosmetic bag. Many of the suitcases were opened, and one couple did not receive luggage at all. We found a meeting party - we are not on the lists, or rather, there are others, who will arrive later. Therefore, we did not get the envelope upon arrival. We got on the bus, let's go, the guide girl says: "Open your envelopes, it says in which building you live, room number and cards for restaurants. " But we live nowhere. . . When we arrived at the place, we got the envelope issued, we were settled in the Sardegna building. Very very modest room but amazing view from the balcony. In general, ONLY Russians are settled in the buildings of Sardegna and Sicilia. The audibility in the rooms is simply phenomenal, as if everything is happening in your room! We arrived on Friday, and on Fridays and Saturdays, weddings are held at the hotel right next to the "lake of flowers" pool, that is, right under the door. The first wedding was distinguished by the repertoire of the 70-80s, they could not sleep, so they sang along and danced in the room for the sake of laughter. It all ended at 2 am, we decided to sleep, but it wasn’t there - they settled a late flight in the next room, the newly-minted neighbors were indignant at first for a long time, then for some reason they began to move the furniture, then they apparently ran out of steam and fell asleep, like us. We woke up at half past four in the morning from the heart-rending chirping of sparrows! I did not know that these birds can scream so loudly and heart-rendingly! Tired until breakfast. The wedding on Saturday was quieter and calmer, the fireworks especially pleased us - we didn’t even have such fireworks for the anniversary of May 9! Very nice! Hotel. When we arrived, we got into some kind of promotion and received an all inclusive bracelet, which helped to save a lot on coffee. "All inclusive" specific, valid only in one bar in the central building. The woman who works there, apparently the senior shift, is not at all happy with you and shows it to you with her whole appearance. Order only from male and female trainees! You can eat in two restaurants: it doesn’t matter where breakfast is - standard boring stuff, but lunch and dinner are good either at the Grill or at Le Isole, we alternated, there is not a huge variety, but you can live. The territory is large, well-groomed, green. Do not touch cacti, torture yourself to pull out small diseased thorns. Lots of different paths, most uphill, none straight to anything. For those who have a fitness background - very good. Toboggan is a cool entertainment, the beach - a pontoon - is deep, there are lured fish. A shuttle runs to the sandy beach every 15-20 minutes, regardless of the siesta. Siesta is a whole different story. It starts at 12.30 and ends at 16.30, while it is, everything around is dying out. If you want to know how many of our compatriots are in the hotel, go out at one in the afternoon to any of the pools - everyone who is there is ours. In general, the hotel pulls on 3+. This year they applied for 4 stars. But before that, a lot of things need to be improved: rooms (audibility, bathroom, normal shampoos and shower gels, safes in each room), in terms of food, there is not enough variety and fruits (otherwise only plums, peaches and apricots, 1 time watermelon) , as well as vegetables (too many vegetables soaked in vinegar, including broccoli). The staff are friendly and the welcome increases significantly if you try to speak Italian. Excursions. From the excursions they took the one to the wine cellars - a professional interest, a lot of local grape varieties that are not found anywhere else. We went to Palermo ourselves, having previously asked the girls at the reception to mark the most significant places. We left at 3 o'clock from the hotel, arrived at 8. Two days was enough back to back, as there are many sights, interesting ones and a siesta, again, so we didn’t manage to see everything we wanted. Part of the second day was devoted to quick shopping, not everyone managed to get around. Prices please with discounts. There are no crossed-out price tags we are used to, just subtract the discount from the printed price. People. Very hospitable and hospitable people, proud, they really like it when tourists try to speak their language. Seeing a beautiful girl, they sincerely admire, but do not pester. Always trying to help, explain, warn. Handsome men. . . The return flight is quite inconvenient - rise at 4 o'clock in the morning, departure at 7. (Therefore, it turned out 7 days and 7 nights). After arrival, we again received gutted suitcases, and many without wheels and handles : ((Those who wrapped them in film - too. Keep this in mind. It took 4 !! ! hours to get from the airport to the house. So in general we liked it, if the hotel develops it will be very good.
