When you arrive at the beach, the first two rows of sun loungers cannot be used for free.
We were told to pay an additional €70 to be able to lie by the sea on a sun lounger (neither the hotel nor our tour agency ever told us this). We were very surprised by these additional costs. We took the third row so as not to pay. A family from the USA took the second row, and the price that the beach worker from the hotel told them was already € 81. This additional charge from hotel guests is a pure scam.
And that is not all. On a small part of the beach where you lie to relax and enjoy the sea (which is what you actually came here for) CONSTANTLY you are bypassed by 10 sellers (men) from Africa and Pakistan, who each time urge you to buy their goods. As a woman, you are lying almost naked, and men are constantly walking around, examining you and bothering you - a very unpleasant feeling.
AND NOT ANY STAFF OF THE HOTEL PREVENTS THIS - these workers will stop you faster if you want to lie down on the first or second row of sun loungers, they will immediately run after you, and the merchants who have nothing to do with the hotel and who spoil your stay on beach and constantly disrupt your holiday, they do not stop.
On the beach you don't have privacy at all, you lie like in the market. THIS SITUATION IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!! ! When we got back from the beach, we wanted something to drink and eat. On the hotel terrace, we ordered 4 glasses of LOCAL wine, and received a plate with the usual snack (olives, nuts, dry thin bread, smoked sausage and cheese). On departure, we had to pay the price of 81 euros for this. Folks, isn't it too expensive for a local wine and a typically Italian appetizer?? ? In this hotel, one cup of cappuccino only costs 6 euros.
And not only that, to get this cappuccino, you have to go to the reception every time to be served, otherwise you will not get anything. In the center of Moscow, in an expensive hotel such as the Metropol, one cup of cappuccino costs 10 euros, but at the same time you are in one of the most prestigious hotels in the world.
As a result, the Chia Laguna hotel: the location is bad (far from the sea), the building is old, without comfort, the rooms are too small and not comfortable, guests are constantly extorted, everything is very prohibitively expensive, there is no rest and personal privacy on the beach. The hotel itself makes it look better than it really is. We really advise never to come here!
