We flew well. Ice-nat worked professionally and there were no problems in principle. At the airport we were met by a mini-bus and we set off in anticipation of a luxurious holiday. we were still in for an unpleasant surprise: there were three of us and we ordered an apartment for three, and they gave us an apartment for two, but at the same time they put an extra cot. funny. they promised, however, that they would come up with something the next day.
they came up with it in the morning. And they gave us a normal apartment for three, they said that we would have to pay an extra 100 euros. Well, we were people who didn’t miss. When it was already the day of departure, we quickly handed over the keys and hit the road))) like this. generally friendly, only one cleaning lady speaks Russian, she helped us with communication...
the hotel is quiet, on a hill, not far from the road, but you can’t hear it at all. We got a clean room. With a balcony. Awesome! we have almost every day. the towels were really changed every other time. there is a place to hang wet things on the balcony. we, as I said, had apartments, so we had to cook ourselves. kitchen utensils for every taste! electric stove, refrigerator, sink - in general, everything is as it should be! A big plus is that there was a department store nearby. It is located on the street, which, as you go down to the road, is on the right hand.
on the left hand the main street. many villas with parks. we even got into one of them. GORGEOUS! I advise you to look into one of them. according to the map you can walk to the Nyubel villa and to the house where Lesya Ukrainka lived. next to the hotel is the Casino . very interesting! approximately in the same places the station. we independently (we didn’t overpay the tour operator on purpose) went to Nice and Monaco by electric trains! a ticket for two is about 10 euros. there is no train to Nice or Monaco. You have to change trains in the border town of Ventimiglia.
The beach was right across the road, but it was paid: a sun lounger - 2 euros, an umbrella - 2.5 euros. They give you a pass and you can walk on it all day to one beach until seven in the evening. The sea was not warm, but we were just early. the sea was already warm, but we were leaving ((the sea is clean, a kind of small bay. There are no sharp cliffs. The beaches are usually sandy and clean.
on the right side is the main street. There are a lot of shops, but we didn’t buy anything there (((
there is a LIDO restaurant on the waterfront. cool place. I advise everyone to go!! ! the prices are reasonable. the food is excellent! cheerful waiters. we sat there all evening and came to the room only at the second hour of the night according to their time. there is live music and the singers sing not even badly. there are two of them - a man and a woman.
in general, there are many restaurants on the main street and the prices are almost the same everywhere. there is no such thing as "AH". we ate every day in a new one. nothing special (((yes, there is also McDonald's there. well, it might come in handy.
Well, that's all. Go to San Remo - you won't regret it!
