If you dream of the worst vacation of your life, want to spend a huge amount of money and return from vacation with spoiled impressions and not completely satisfied, then you should definitely contact the travel company Ambitour. As stated on the website of the mentioned travel agency, it is the official authorized representative of the tour operator of the well-known Coral Travel, however, it would be better if I contacted them directly than wasted my time using the services of Ambitour. … More ▾ If you dream of the worst vacation of your life, want to spend a huge amount of money and return from vacation with spoiled impressions and not completely satisfied, then you should definitely contact the travel company Ambitour. There were no questions about where to go on vacation: Italy has always been my favorite vacation spot, and how many times I have been to the town by the sea - Rimini - can not be counted. I have been following my personal preferences for a long time, buying plane tickets myself and booking Artis Hotel Rimini, one of the best in terms of quality and service, intending to do the same this year, but I was persuaded not to bother myself and provide all questions to the travel agency, which, unfortunately, I did.
At first glance, the lady showed us photos of the excellent Cirene Hotel with clean, beautiful rooms and all the necessary amenities, assuring us of first-class service, friendly staff and an included breakfast with an abundance of delicious food in everyone's favorite buffet format. Yeah, they believed, they bought it.
What really happened? Upon arrival in Italy, we were met by a bus collecting all the tourists who arrived from the company to take them to hotels and accommodate them with all comfort and convenience. Not only did all the vacationers, like a company of free-riders, landed at one of the local stops, vaguely waving their hands, thereby showing the location of the hotels, so no one bothered to give us vouchers, or any discount coupons, or pieces of paper with information about good restaurants in the district, shops and supermarkets - nothing. Then cope, as they say, on your own, and also look for your hotels yourself. And then they disappeared, leaving bewildered tourists with suitcases in their hands at a shabby stop.
The hotel, so well advertised to us in the company, turned out to be completely different and completely different from the photos shown to us. Already at the entrance to it, we were struck by the companies of dandelion grannies located in the shade on the veranda, apparently discussing ways to make ravioli for their grandchildren and effective ointments for back pain. Not a single young man - already suspicious. The hostess of the hotel standing at the reception, just seeing us coming in with suitcases, made an unhappy face, as if we had just added ketchup with mayonnaise to freshly cooked bolognese pasta, checked us in and gave the keys to the room with a face of complete hostility and disgust. But with the grannies who came up to her with questions, she immediately shone with a halo over her head and cooed with a sweet voice like an angel, illuminating the path of the lost matrons with her light.
The room… On the example of our room, one could write a whole memo for hotel owners about which rooms cannot accommodate arriving guests. It seemed that we were given a place where the staff lives in ordinary hotels: there was no question of any refrigerator with a standard set of drinks and snacks; furniture, living on its last legs and literally praying for its replacement; floors that had not been washed, apparently, since the time of the Roman Empire, and a dirty ear stick lying by the bedside table were a reminder of that period (the stick, by the way, was not removed during all the days of our stay); a bathroom, with an uncontrolled flow of either hot or cold water, there was no middle way; the dimensions of the room were small, that it was possible to get to the closet without getting out of bed (by the way, for some reason there were three beds, considering that there were only two of us). Instead of the sea view promised to us, from the dirty, seedy window one could see the wall of the neighboring house standing almost close to the hotel, and the dog living in the kennel below us howled unbearably every early morning, which even I, an animal lover, wanted to launch into it slipper and continue to sleep. As a result, throughout the ten days of our stay at the hotel, our room was safely forgotten for cleaning and a banal change of linen and towels, which is carried out in normal hotels every few days. The ear stick alone continued to be covered with dust and germs at the bedside table.
The general idea of the hotel also leaves much to be desired. Not only does the situation itself remind of a cheap boarding house for Italian pensioners or an elite nursing home in Russia, so any request or question to the staff was accompanied by an unhappy face with bricks and arrogant extortion of pieces of paper with a euro sign for doing them. Even the Internet, which by definition should be included in the price of accommodation, will be available to you only when you unfasten an additional three euros from your pocket. And from the contempt shown in your direction by the Russophobic hostess, there is a desire to go and wash yourself to a creak, and at the same time spend money on a psychologist who can restore your faith in yourself and your stable and unshakable self-esteem that has fallen below the level of the Adriatic Sea.
If you want to lose some weight and control the amount of food you eat, you will not find a better motivation for this anywhere except in the face of the Cirene Hotel. Again, we did not find the buffet, which was vehemently advertised to us, if only because after the invasion of hungry locusts, sorry, Italian grandparents, there was nothing left. I had to go to breakfast every day at the famous Italian confectionery Tino, where they served delicious coffee and pastries, and pay 15 euros. And, you know, after seeing the attraction of unprecedented generosity, even the most seedy 2-star hotel in Alanya seems to be a stronghold of abundance and hospitality.
And if all of the above could be somehow endured, since we spent whole days outside the hotel, minding our own business, enjoying the sun, the sea, delicious food and Italy in general, then the last day crossed out all the good impressions received over the past time. The check-out, which is standard everywhere at noon and not earlier, in this hotel that does not keep pace with the times and professional service, is set at ten in the morning, and God forbid you do not evaporate before that time: the contemptuous glance of the hostess will haunt you to the very Russian border and have nightmares for another month. At eight o'clock in the morning, as always, we went to have breakfast in the pastry shop, and when we returned half an hour later, we found the maid already collecting our bed linen and taking away the towels! At 8:30 am! With grief, I had to beat the towels back in half, because before leaving, I still wanted to take a shower, although, apparently, they had been eager to get rid of us for a long time. The cake I bought, packed in a branded confectionery box and carried in the same branded bag, which left no doubt where it came from and what was inside, was SPECIALLY placed on its side and CRUSHED by our suitcases pressed against it, which the maid rearranged to another side and, of course, could not help but understand what was inside the package and how the contents should be handled. A good portion of the great and powerful Russian swearing poured on the maid (the daughter of the hotel owner) brazenly grinning in my direction, as if from a cornucopia, seasoned only by her lazy and indifferent wish to calm down and not hysteria.
As a result: a lot of money was paid for the vacation, the hotel is completely different from what they showed us in the pictures, disgusting service and disregard for guests, food that causes getting rid of extra pounds for its unattractive appearance, and a travel company that absolutely disregard for his customers, does not even lift a finger to somehow correct unpleasant situations and does not return money for ruined holidays. I will definitely return to Italy, but with the help of the Ambitur travel agency, it is unlikely.

The room is tiny, the bathroom is even smaller, the shower pours directly on the floor, on the toilet, sink. Such low-cost conditions would come at a low price, but the bar also sells fake drinks, soap diluted with water, only one sandwich, croissant and tea or coffee for breakfast, and it's not tasty at all. … More ▾ The room is tiny, the bathroom is even smaller, the shower pours directly on the floor, on the toilet, sink.
