Holidays in Rimini. Hotel Villa Dei Fiori***
If you like noisy parties, discos, bawling “our” songs under vodka and beer, you can stop reading further, this hotel is not for you.
My husband and I work a lot all year with people, we don't smoke, we love alcohol ONLY in the form of a glass of good wine. We love excursions, but we also like to lie on the beach and relax. And we can only rate the hotel with five plus! So, a wonderful Italian family by the name of Casadei owns and manages the hotel: the elders are Signor Giuseppe and his wife Irena, the younger ones are the daughters Alessandra and Christina and their husbands, they all work from dawn to the last client, dragging their little legs, and on sometimes the three youngest from 2 to 12 years old also run through the hall. The hotel is small, stands in a quiet lane, but the sea is very close. Walk two minutes to the beach. This is not the center of Rimini, but rather the outskirts, but clean buses run very regularly around the city, and you can get there in 10 minutes. reach any point in the city. Stop very close to the hotel.

I always thought that three stars is a minimum of amenities, "just to spend the night. " But, despite the fact that I have been to many places for my 45, I have never experienced SUCH physical and psychological comfort anywhere. The Kazadei family do not speak Russian, but can communicate in English, German and French easily. We know English, besides, before leaving, I read a little Russian-Italian phrase book, and there were no difficulties with translation. We were welcomed as welcome guests. We were only the second Russian in this hotel. When leaving, I swore to them that I would recommend all my friends to stay only in Italy, and only at the Villa Dei Fiori*** hotel. There was a very interesting reaction to this: Irena made a list of phrases and words so that I could help them translate into Russian and write a transcription. I won’t be surprised that on my next visit (and I will definitely go there again), they will already speak Russian.
But let's start in order: We booked two rooms - a double room for my husband and me (for some reason there was also a third bed), the second, single room, for my 16-year-old daughter. The rooms are small but very comfortable. It looks like it has been recently renovated. Hot water was ALWAYS in the room: French double bed, telephone, TV, hairdryer, shower, bidet, wardrobes, mirrors, free air conditioning and safe, but no refrigerator. But there has never been any regrets about it. When we bought cheeses and wines, they put it all in the fridge in the lobby bar without any problems. Definitely a balcony. In the lobby - free wireless Internet. The hotel has its own swimming pool and a terrace with a ping-pong table. To be honest, I have never swum in the pool - after all, the sea is nearby! It is not recommended to swim in the pool after dinner. And it's great! The night passes quietly. (not like in Bulgaria, all night long hubbub and drunken orgies of all nationalities).
Breakfast is just a song! Espresso coffee, americano, latte, cocoa, tea - as much as you like and very tasty. Delicious compotes (pineapple, plum, peach, assorted), yogurt, muesli, milk, jams. Separately, about cheeses and sausages: Philadelphia cheese, processed, cottage cheese, hard. I used to think that Germany was the leader in the quality of sausages, but having tried sausages and ham in Italy for breakfast, I can say - it's just a fairy tale! Germany nervously smokes on the sidelines! Three kinds of cupcakes, buns, different breads, toasts. Cucumbers, tomatoes. Do not list everything! And all in unlimited quantities! We were supposed to have half board, i. e. breakfast and choice: lunch or dinner. So we chose lunch only once, and even then, because at 4 o'clock we had to go on an excursion, and we did not have time to return for dinner. And so we were full all day after SUCH breakfast. At 16:30 everyone was invited to a coffee break with pies, buns and muffins performed by Irena. I just wanted to shout “Brava, Irena! ”
A whole book could be written about dinners. But I will be brief. Delicious, just like home. The portions are huge, the menu is varied. Regardless of WHAT we ordered the day before, we always carried it out, persuaded us to take an addition of all the hot dishes of that evening. But there is also a dessert to choose from: mousse, sauté , ice cream, melon, watermelon... Well, it doesn’t work out briefly! At 10 pm everyone was treated to something else tasty pizza, or sandwiches, or ham and tortillas. Dinner at 19:30 and please do not be late. It sounds strange, but we did not experience any discomfort due to such strictness, seeing how hard the waiters are trying. Wines, beer, liqueurs will be brought to the table by order, for a fee (3-4 euros a glass).

In particular, I want to tell you about one incredible service offered by Signor Giuseppe, the owner of the hotel. The weather in Italy is changeable, not always “dry and comfortable”. In bad weather, he offers to take him to the shopping center, which is located outside the city, in his own car, and then pick him up from there. By the way, I recommend buying a local Italian SIM card for 18-20 euros, 5 euros immediately come to the account, and they last for a very long time. In addition, calls to Russia from it are much cheaper than in our roaming. For this trip, he only needs to pay for the spent gasoline, which is 10-15 euros. And if two or three families go, it's generally for nothing. He has a Mercedes van. In the same way, we went with him to the Baldinini outlet and the Italy in Miniature park. Everyone was very pleased with these trips. Giuseppe and Jimmy Baldinini are classmates and have lived in neighboring houses since childhood. And what kind of shoes are in Italy... !! ! I regret that I spared the money and did not buy for all seasons for the whole family! Now, it’s even sickening to go into our shoe stores!
I highly recommend renting a car with a navigator. So we ourselves went to San Marino and traveled around Rimini. And, despite the excursions, in Italy you can find interesting places at every step! This is either history or art, and simply incredibly beautiful landscapes with amazingly delicious air!
But this is not about that, but about the hotel. As I wrote, the beach is nearby, but it is paid. There are almost no free beaches in Italy. The beaches are in municipal ownership and are kept in an exemplary order. You can also pay for the use of the beach at the hotel. A voucher is issued, which you show to the caretaker of the beach, he will take you to unreserved places. For three of us, we always took 2 sun loungers with an umbrella. It costs 8 euros. This amount includes the right to use the cleanest beach toilet, finished with Italian tiles, with an abundance of liquid soap, toilet. paper, hot and cold water! I do not recommend paying in advance for several days. If it rains or an unforeseen excursion, the money will be lost, it is not transferred to another day. Theft on the beach is not observed. We went to the room during the day, left all our things on the sun loungers, returned at four o'clock, when the sun became soft and the tan lays especially evenly, everything was in place. The sand is fine and very clean. The coastal part of the sea is separated by a ridge of boulders, so there are never big waves there. The sea is shallow, you can easily walk to the boulders to see that the entire submerged part is densely covered with real live oysters. The water is warm, cloudy, please do not confuse it, it is not dirty. It's just a minus of sandy beaches, unlike pebble ones. If algae appear with the tide, the uncles with nets immediately appear and catch everything. Rest around mostly Germans, French, Italians. There are very few Russians in this part of Rimini. There are more of them towards the center. The sea is not seething from swimmers as in Sochi, everything is very calm. Little kids have fun there! There are many of them of all ages. For the little ones, there is a playground right on the beach with a babysitter, slides, rocking chairs, carousels, swings, etc. This is again free for those who bought a voucher for the beach. For teenagers and young people in general, the hotel has bicycles free of charge. In the evening, free discos are held near the beaches a little further away, for a fee only when guest artists and local celebrities perform. We were even lucky enough to attend a performance by a famous Italian tenor, and it was free. In addition, real Indians perform on the evening promenade almost every day with their bewitching music with flutes, pipes and... a synthesizer. The music is simply enchanting! Buy CDs from them. Very nice music for the office.
And one more small plus: in this part of Rimini there are a lot of hotels where you can stay with a dog, if it is a mini or medium class. In our hotel, I did not see dogs, but I think we can agree. If so, blame me. My name is Zhanna.

In general, as you have already noticed, in my story everything is with an exclamation mark! How else? Bravo Italy! Bravo Rimini! Bravo Villa dei Fiori!
