My wife and I arrived in the town of Milano Marritimo, which is buried in a cedar forest, at the Doge 4 hotel after the tour of the City of Arts on 09/14/19. We had full board and were greeted with great warmth and cordiality. Standard room, on the 5th floor, very clean, well maintained, bed linen changed every day, a small balcony overlooking the beach and the sea.

The restaurant is served by waiters, there is a buffet and a menu, the cook constantly came out for lunch and dinner and asked if the dish was pleasant. And the dishes are all very tasty, a lot of fish dishes, even exotic ones, for example monkfish, an abundance of fruits and delicious pastries. We paid 114 euros for an umbrella and 2 sun loungers, with a discount for 7 days. We lived on the 4th floor, in room 80. From the balcony one could see the beach with the sea (on the left) and the road on the right. At first I was delighted, since a sea view always comes with an extra charge. price. But the very next day I wanted to change it to another.....Downstairs on the path leading to the beach there were garbage cans and every morning, from 6 o'clock, they were unloaded with such a roar that it was impossible to sleep. If we knew the language, at least English. , this problem could have been solved, but the room would not have been better, and there would have been no sea view. The hotel has a very small territory, very modest rooms, which are not at all 4 * pull. TV without Russian channel, shower cabin in the room. The strange layout of the bathroom - a tram (sink, bidet, toilet, shower), on a narrow lane, we were simply perplexed. The kitchen was normal, everything suited us. It is better to take full board, because it is quite difficult to eat in a cafe where there is no Russian menu, and no one knows Russian! We realized this on the first day. I note that no one is in a hurry to accommodate tourists from the road... , they have everything according to plan, the check-in seems to be at 12 o'clock. day. Since we arrived at 11 o'clock, breakfast was skipped, they did not even think to check us in earlier. Tired and hungry, we wandered around the city for an hour, deciding where to find a restaurant with a Russian menu! But in vain, then we decided to have a quiet dinner at the hotel. It cost us 70 euros for two.....what we learned on the last day, during the calculation. I think that it is very expensive, but in general for dinner we were given a menu in Russian, special. translated, and appetizers and dessert - a buffet. It was unpleasant when paying with the hotel to see a payment for one dinner of 35 euros. We skipped dinner when we went to Venice, and agreed at the reception to take lunch the next day. I didn’t go, but my husband ate calmly, they even prepared a menu for him. It was very unpleasant to clarify this situation, we explained, through Russian managers, that they were wrong, including this money in our account. As a result, they subtracted this amount, but the unpleasant aftertaste became for a long time. Shame on the hotel management.... There are very few Russian tourists in this hotel, it is not popular. There was no evening animation, but the center is nearby and we always left after dinner. From 8 o'clock the streets are filled with people, as in a demonstration, boutiques are open for a very long time, there is something to see, but mostly expensive clothes. We were in the discount season and this was a little reassuring. We went to Venice, San Marino, Rimini, we liked it very much. In general, the hotel can be said that the price does not match the quality at all!

By the way, September is no longer the season! Bars, discos, shops - almost do not work! It was cool - no velvet season, the tour operators promise. In general, Italy is a beautiful country, but there is nothing to do in Milano Marittima!
