I rested with my wife in September for three weeks in Italy, the first week we devoted to exploring Rome, we stayed at Waldorf 3 *.
General impression of the hotel:
positive:
- to the metro (Cornelia) literally 300 meters from the hotel, to the bus station 200 meters
-metro Cornelia is located on line "A", and the main attractions of Rome too, much less time on the road, because. the metro (especially the transitions) is wretched compared to Moscow
- despite the location on the outskirts of Rome, there are cafes and restaurants and shops nearby
-the room was on the 3rd floor, the window to the bus station, but not noisy; the elevator is working; bed (double) comfortable; the bathroom is combined, but comfortable, spacious; the condo is not noisy; the balcony is large, but sunny side before lunch (in the daytime it was +32 outside)
-high-quality cleaning, in the absence of guests (did not wake up in the morning); the staff is friendly, tips from the room (from the bedside table, from the bed) do not take, you must give it personally
- breakfast food - scrambled eggs, fried bacon (salty), pastries, sliced u200bu200b(cheese, sausage) 3-4 types, yogurts, cereals, jams, milk, vegetables, apples-oranges + canned fruits, tea in assortment, relatively good coffee ; in general, without fanaticism, but enough
limitations:
- there are no Russian-language channels on TV, but there is news in English
- check-in at the hotel no earlier than lunch (in my opinion, after 13 local)
So, in our opinion, absolutely everything is decent, for nothing that three stars; then two weeks we rested by the sea, an hour's drive from Rome in 4 *, the hotel was much more "modest". Good luck to everyone, have a good rest and pleasant impressions!
