But the breakfasts are killing - I have not seen such scarcity for a long time. In general, you need to be very careful about food in the center of Milan, because. many open cafes do not understand why they put up such price tags that their eyes climb on their foreheads (more expensive than in a good restaurant, and next to it). We went to the serravalle outlet (the bus leaves at 10 am, the stop is next to the Garibaldi monument, again you can walk from the hotel). To be honest, we were disappointed, and the choice is small and the prices are strange - for top brands there is a significant drop (several times), but for the middle class - well, maybe 10-15 percent, no more. And it is very big, and at 17-00 already back.
We flew back from Bergamo airport, taxi drivers from the center take 100-120 euros, this is nonsense, there is an excellent bus every 30 minutes from the station for 5 euros per person, so this savings is worth it.
I don’t know where, but at the Bergamo airport, the VAT refund is a pure scam. Everything is done to create an extreme. Those. first you need to get a boarding pass, of course, check-in begins 2 hours before the flight - there is a queue, then about an hour before departure, the taxman slowly appears, who also slowly puts stamps, sometimes asks to show things, so don’t rush your suitcases wrap. Then the whole crowd runs to the currency exchange, where, in theory, money should be given out, and there sits a cunning guy who says, the euro is only for a card (and this is understandable unverifiable, you can forget, but you have already flown away), I can give it out in dollars, but I will determine the course. But there is no time to argue, at least get something. As a result, then they counted on the plane - and at the rate they deceived and simply didn’t give 5 dollars, but extreme sports are created for that, of course.
