Everyone chooses to rest on their own. Vis-a-vis hotel for a quiet relaxing holiday! There are no Russians, neither in the hotel, nor in the town (Sestri Levante). In this regard, there are problems with additional excursions. Gathering a group is simply impossible and the tour company offers to buy the whole car. And this is 500 euros. In general, the country is more expensive than, say, Spain. It is very easy and not expensive to travel around the area by train, since Sertri has a fairly large railway station and high-speed trains stop. You can also rent a car, but it's more expensive. And there is where to go! Genoa, Pisa, Florence, and Milan are not very far away.
The hotel is located on a large hill, between the sea and the town. There are 7 floors in total (1.2 - reception and common hall, 3.4. 5 - rooms, 6.7 - restaurant and open bar / restaurant), an elevator leads from the 1st floor to the level of the town (right in the rock). Near a small private house and no one else. The view of the sea from the rooms overlaps the continuation of the hill and the trees growing on it. But the view of the city is very even! The most beautiful thing is the views from the restaurants!! ! The sea, a peninsula with small coastal houses, yachts, the cleanest sea, and waves crashing against the rocks!! ! And what a sunset!
The hotel does not have its own beach. To the sea on foot 5 minutes through the narrow streets of the old part of Sestri Levante. There are 2 bays to choose from, one is small (a wild beach with the opportunity to buy beach attributes) the other is large (with paid beaches, on the territory of which there are all the benefits of civilization).
I liked the hotel VERY, we were looking for this (small, calm, without compatriots).
The next trip will be either there or to the Amalfi Coast. But definitely in Italy!
