Before staying with a tour group at this hotel, I read the reviews - everything seems to be fine. Imagine our disappointment when the reality turned out to be completely different. Before staying with a tour group at this hotel, I read the reviews - everything seems to be fine. Imagine our disappointment when the reality turned out to be completely different. Firstly, hotels in Italy (at least in small towns) do not correspond to the generally accepted concept of stardom. That is, 3 * is more like a motel (ie, ass) and 4 * is actually 3 * in our understanding. In the case of the Capital Hotel, this is a 3 * stretch. In order to proudly be called a 4* hotel worldwide, a hotel must generally fulfill certain requirements and provide guests with certain accommodation conditions. It seems that in this hotel they either didn’t hear about it or simply “scored” everything. For example, to make it clear what we are talking about: unfortunately, you will not see such pleasant and necessary things as slippers, glasses or glasses (! ), hand soap, a cosmetic set, a full bar. It's all completely missing. To the ranting of the hotel staff about the fact that "actually we have all this, but your tour operator did not order it, " I want to answer: this is complete nonsense! Before this hotel and after it, as part of this tour, we stayed in a large number of different hotels in different cities of Italy, and nowhere (! ) There was no such horror anymore. And in general, how can a 4 * hotel not provide such elementary things to its customers? Whatever the terms of the hotel contract with the tour operator, these are basic and inexpensive (compared to the cost of living), but necessary little things for hotel guests. To be honest, it's even ridiculous to talk about it seriously! No self-respecting hotel should deny its customers such elementary things! Further about the room: : if you want to use just a refrigerator due to the lack of a bar filled with water, etc. - do not count on it. Yes, it is available, but just as the refrigerator is initially adjusted to the “warm” temperature, so is the central air conditioner at about the same temperature. And no matter what you do, no matter what buttons you press, there is a central temperature control system throughout the hotel, and the owners seem to like it when it's warm. The special charm of this situation was given by the fact that we lived in this hotel in August, in the very heat. And if you suddenly want to ventilate this stuffiness by simply opening the window - don't count on relief: two of the three window sashes are sealed, it is impossible to open them, and one opens only for ventilation and does not save the situation at all. It was the only time in my life when, while living in a 4 * hotel, I was forced to wake up in the middle of the night in a haze and sweat, refresh myself in the shower with cold water in order to still sleep. In continuation, I want to add: the employees claim that at the moment when you open the window. their vaunted air-conditioning system ("warm") turns off. So: the guests open the windows not just like that, but out of hopelessness to exist at such an unacceptable temperature of the air conditioner in the room, and not vice versa!
And one more thing: the hotel is located on the outskirts of civilization, there is only a shop nearby. And also available unfriendly. sometimes rude staff.
