I must say right away the trip turned out super! We skated all the days except for one (excursion to Milan). We were on the Swiss slopes twice, at the same time we walked (in boots) around Zermat and bought a watch (divine prices). In my opinion, the slopes are from the Italian side yet more interesting and varied.

I must say right away the trip turned out super! We skated all the days except for one (excursion to Milan). We were on the Swiss slopes twice, at the same time we walked (in boots) around Zermat and bought a watch (divine prices). In my opinion, the slopes are from the Italian side yet more interesting and varied. We rested with a company of 6 people, 3 couples. My wife and I lived at the Jumeaux Hotel, one of the first in Cervinia, we really liked it. Interior decoration and interior in the old Alpine style, antique paintings on the walls in the lobby, breakfast is delicious and of high quality (class croissants), the staff is friendly and helpful (especially Senor Franco at the reception), there are even two Russian-speaking women. Our friends lived in apartments nearby from us, which turned out to be very useful when it came to hot food, the first and second Italians cook no matter in our general opinion (fondue and raw smoked meats are at their best). But the main thing is the weather is great (apart from a couple of episodes with wind and fog), the slopes are gorgeous, the company super!
