22.02. 17. Pescul
We spent the whole day apart. I went towards the village of Santa Fosca, along the sidewalk along the highway. 800 meters from Pescul - Church Santa Fosca:
Turn to the right, no longer a highway, but an asphalt country road, closer to the mountains. Another church is Chiesetta della Madonna della Neve (Church of the Snow Madonna):
The snow is no longer being cleared outside the village.
This is the territory of a hunting reserve.
Evidence that deer are found here:
Hunting and picking mushrooms and berries are regulated. Licenses are issued. And at the hotel we had venison, fresh mushrooms, and fresh blueberries on the menu. There is something to remember.
Olga mastered new tracks that day. From the top lift station you can go down to Peskul, or you can go to another valley.
There is a real city on the lake - Alleghe:
She likes to shoot against the sun:
Santa Fosca, unlike Pesculya, is a non-tourist village. I went to look at its architecture after lunch. And then she also brought Olga on the day of departure. So the main photos will be later.
The evening sun magically illuminates the peaks of the mountains. Such a picture can be admired forever. And our mountain, by the way, is called Pelmo, Monte Pelmo. From here you can see that it has two vertices:
Shades of yellow fade into shades of pink:
It's the end of the day, and there's so much more to come.
