20.02. 17. Pescul
Let's go to the mountains!
The destination is the village of Peskul. Olga will go skiing, but I'll just go for a walk.
The distance from Venice is only 140 km, but we traveled half a day - with three transfers, first by two trains, then by two buses. And it was the best option! The owners of the hotel confirmed.
“It would be nice to live with a view of that mountain over there” - I thought:
While waiting for the second bus,
Olga managed to look into the shop of local products and bought goodies.
On the bus, when she heard that Olga and I were speaking Russian, a Ukrainian woman turned to us. She was sure that we were going to work in some hotel or restaurant. She herself moved from one such place to another, hoping for better working conditions. And I was sure that only migrant workers go to these parts.
And here is Pescul:
And our hotel:
And the view from the window. As per request - with mountain view:
First walk. Here Olga rented skis, and here they were stored from evening to morning:
I was surprised by the similarity of shades of blue. In Venice, the "photo model" wore exactly such a delicate dress:
Someone stocked up on firewood well:
There is almost no snow on the southern slopes of the mountains:
And we are going along the northern slope:
At this point, I started to master the iPhone, but I fully appreciated the advantages of its camera later.
