On Thursday, at about 2 o'clock, we flew to Malpensa (Milan) and found (with some difficulty) half an hour later SIXT (car rental).

We saw a booked diesel FIAT Cubo there, and my friend's family got a BMW = there weren't enough Fiat cars at all: )

After that, we went to different hotels and met on Friday on the shores of Lake Como (the city of Bellagio? ).

There we took a little walk / went to the local cathedral / ate at McDonald's / climbed the funicular to the local slide ...took pictures of ourselves and ducks / swans on the waterfront and went home.

At the hotel we rested a bit and in the evening went again to hang out / shop in Milan.

Arrived in Lampignan (metro station) / left the car in the park and went to the Duomo (Center).

Some people shopped there, and your humble servant (c) listened to street music / drank coffee and enjoyed the charming Milan ...among other things, especially impressed by the modern boutique APLE.

On Saturday morning we had shopping again (and I just had a walk) in an outlet or trading floor somewhere on the way from Milan to Aosta

Again on the way we visited the online grocery store "Familia" (I highly recommend the price-quality ratio) where they loaded our Cubo products for the whole week and rushed to Aosta.

Arrived at our apartments around 7 pm / had a delicious dinner and started preparing for the first day of the wheelchair.

The owner of the apartment is probably a carpenter, or just an avant-garde artist: most of the kitchen furniture, decoration, made with his own taste but for the 19th century.

Our apartments were within walking distance of the local Pila slide, but we didn't go there in the morning; )

Day 1: La Tuile / La Rozier

In the morning we had a good breakfast, we got on our Fiat Cubo and drove into the parking navigator in La Tuile, about 40 minutes later we drove there. The weather was sunny and we quickly started moving towards La Rozier. On the way there was a photo shoot with a view of Mont Blanc / we ruined each other a bit near the snow park, but finally got to France: ).

Somehow I didn't like the slopes very much: everything was so blue-red, or maybe it was just in a bad mood (c); ).

In general, in this tour of ours, the opinions of all members of the tour were sometimes completely opposite to our preferences; )

Especially some (there was a beginner snowboarder with us) did not like the way home with bugs ...somewhere halfway down and then walked: (.

Whatever it was, but about six we were already in Aosta, and about seven we were waiting for the royal dinner from the hands of our lady (soups / steaks / pasta / cheese with mold, etc. ); )

Day 2: Cervinia / Zermatt

After wandering around a bit thanks to our navigator and driving through the serpentine for various nausea, we finally arrived in Cervinia at about 10 o'clock.

Large free parking right under the station with a caravan. The weather is EXCELLENT again - frost and sun (s)… and without wind; ).

Shortly wandering along the Italian side, we quickly moved across the Rosa Plateau to Zermatt. There were few people and even about 12-13-14 hours on the tracks saw a lot of corduroy ...well, the tracks themselves are just BEAUTIFUL near Zermatt.

At first we wanted to take the train to Gornegrat, but did not want to wait 15 minutes and went to Rothorn.

Quickly took a picture on the Rothorn and remembering that by 15-30 you need to understand the Matterhorn Express, ran in the opposite direction.

Then the ascent to the Matterhorn Glacier at 3800 m and a long red and blue route to Cervinia.

We were home again at about six o'clock ...but we realized that we didn't have time to enjoy Zermatt and decided to wave in the same direction tomorrow ...and the weather forecast confidently told us that; )

Day 3. Cherinia / Zermatt (egain : ))

We got up earlier that day / left at 8.30 and were in Cervinia at 9.18. However, my son and wife left my team (they were very tired), I went with my son's friend, and my friend and family later arrived in another car.

Today we finally went down to Zermatt itself (even 2 times). The first time on the lift, the second - on skis / boards going down to the funicular through Senegalese.

Then we waved to Rothorn again, got off the train to Gornegrat, got up there and hurried home from there.

The Matterhorn Express was launched at 15.25.

Then on the panoramic lift Glacier Paradise again climbed 3800 meters and said goodbye to Zermatt, ran to Cervinia.

We went home for free and were home at about 6.30 pm. It snowed in the evening…

Day 4. Saw

We decided to take a breather (and the weather was not flying) (so) the next day after sleeping and having a hearty breakfast, went to Pila (10 minutes by car).

Pila reminded me a bit of Bukovel = one day there is enough for a wheelchair - a little ride / a little fooling around in the snow park… and home

Meanwhile, the snow was over and not much was falling, so we decided to go to…

Day 5. Monte Rosa

There was a very winding serpentine to Monte Rosi, but there were few accompanying cars and we got there pretty quickly. At the box office we were greeted with nice smiles, inexpensive ski passes (about 42 euros) and chocolates on the track.

Maybe that's why we liked Monte Rosa (MR) the most (after Zermatt), or maybe its decent routes ...who knows. My friend and his family, on the contrary, did not like MR at all - a paradox.

On the MR we reached the Gressons, we did not go down to the very bottom. We drove a little there on the black and went in the opposite direction.

What I liked: there were very few people, almost all the tracks are in corduroy, the angle of inclination and width are also at a decent level (in general). However, it was quite cold in the chairs, especially on the shady side.

HERE…

Day 6. Courmayeur

After Pili, the nearest resort to us was Courmayeur.

We got there and back on free roads… and they turned out to be no worse than highways - it's a bit simple; )

For some reason there was the most expensive ski pass (after Zermatt / Cervinia) - 57 or 59.

The slides are not bad, but the car on Yula is just some kind of garbage ...as for Italy and closes at 14.30: )

The views are not bad, the weather was great too, but many hours were spent searching for the Sky Express (species funicular) in the direction of Mont Blanc.

There were some freeride descents on the maps, but when we approached it - I did not see any skiers or tracks and in general somewhere 500 meters (at least) were not snowed to the bottom… then we realized that full freeride is only towards Chamonix.

It wasn't in our plans, at least on this tour ...so we went back and spent the day somewhere between Zerota and Yula.

Satisfied, but not tired (probably a second breath), we returned to Aosta and began to gather on the way back ...

The road home.

On Saturday we got to Malpensa in a couple of hours, where we changed Fiat Cubo to Opel Mocca and rested near the room until the morning.

Sunday's shopping promenade was, of course, back in Milan.

The weather seemed rainy, but we as real mountaineers were not bothered at all: )

Many great markets (for every taste) with reasonable prices and real discounts are located near the metro Lima (near the Duomo), so many of us did not have to go. We had ice reflective shopping, which alternated with testing local fast food and cafes.

Budget: I will not write in detail, but the approximate budget is somewhere around 850-900 euros per person, including: air tickets / rent a car / rent a car-fuel-paid highways / ski passes / products.

Your own equipment.

Conclusion:

1. Quite an interesting region - you can travel there several times, but it is better to have a spacious car at hand to quickly move from place to place.

2. Roads in Italy - just a miracle (compared to what we have) - I was at a speed of 120-130 Italians / Swiss overtook as standing).

DO NOT believe that they do not violate the traffic rules - speed is exceeded everywhere without hesitation; )

3. You need to think about good navigation in advance - like Ai-go / or Google Maps application… Maps Mi often do not start there, and others happen - you need to get used to; )
