The hotel on bookingcom received as much as 5.8 points, which corresponds to its quality and services. We "spent the night" there as much as 7 nights. Reviews of the hotel are completely true. although my review is still not there (it's been 5 days already). The biggest AND ONLY PLUS is the location - in the center, in the quiet center. Although for Iceland and Reykjavik it's the norm when it's quiet and calm. less responsive. And the cons are many:
1) not always clean shower rooms, cramped, uncomfortable;
2) no one cleans the room, there is not enough soap, no one bothers to check his presence during check-in;
3) potsells are not always clean and very old;
4) the windows, both inside and outside, are not washed, you can’t see well from the windows, the windows open a little only at the top;
5) Juice is served for breakfast. boarded up with UPI powder (hello from the 90s), breakfast is poor, but continental.
In short, foreigners are shocked, especially from the soul. There I RARELY saw "victims" who decided to wash themselves. at home. But... You can find a guesthouse a little further from the center, more expensive by 8 euros (personal experience confirmed this), with an excellent common kitchen and a hotel area, so as not to sit stupidly in the room in the evening without TV, like in a Soviet hostel, like refugees , and enjoy the fact that you are in Iceland)))
