Leela is a chain of first-class hotels in India, some of which are Kempinski hotels. In Goa, this is the best hotel, we were convinced of this from our own experience.
We flew from Kyiv in transit through Abu Dhabi. Arrived at 1.20 am local time. Of the entire plane, we were the only tourists who went to Lila. For us, the hotel sent a personal transfer - a comfortable car. And we arrived at the hotel in complete comfort. We drove for 45-50 minutes. We were waited at the hotel from 14.00. They constantly called the guide of the meeting party, Ekaterina (a very good girl who knows her job, with whom it is insanely interesting to talk !!! ! I liked it very much! ), They were worried that they had lost their tourists. Which was very nice! Since we arrived at night, and the room was prepared during the day, we safely settled in and went to bed.
In the morning, since we overslept breakfast, we went to explore the area, which is very big!!!!! ! Here you can write for a long time, and a lot! The territory is very colorful, interesting, with small herons and goldfish in the river. All rooms overlook the water, have either a veranda-terrace or a sliding window system. We lived in new buildings, the Premier Conservatory, which were built in 2008. A lotus blossomed in front of our window, beautiful birds walked, snakes and frogs swam. In the morning they got up with the child and ran to see if the snake, which we called "ours", was visible. Everywhere there are bridges where you can admire the fish and even feed it. Only now, during the feeding of fish, a huge number of crows immediately flock !!! ! Yes, yes, there are also a large number of them, and it looks strange at first. And then you get used to them and do not pay attention to them. Although they are very arrogant creatures and during breakfast a couple of times flew up and pulled something off the table, not paying any attention to you! ! It is also interesting to watch the black ducks that also live there. There are golf courses on site. Lots of flowers and greenery, waterfalls, and naturally beautiful palm trees. Golf cars drive around the territory. Since the territory is large, you can call "bugs" from the room and they will take you where to tell if you don't want to go. Oh, it's convenient. Have used it a couple of times and love it.

Separately, you can write about the beach. Beautiful, clean, sun loungers under palm trees - beauty in one word. But the caretakers of the beach, for a separate income for themselves, take sunbeds, especially for the British, and when they come, they take them to them, pick up the magazine (there is a system of flags on the beach - red - do not disturb, blue - something is needed. Also sun loungers you can borrow by leaving some thing there - a cap, a book, a magazine, a cream, and put a red flag - it means busy), and they, in turn, give them money. They work like that. Seen this many times.
There are a lot of Russians in the hotel. Everywhere I read on the Internet that there are practically no Russians in this hotel. It is not true. There are a lot of them. But to great happiness - this is not the contingent of the Russian population, which is famous for debauchery around the world. Everyone is very cultured and calm.
We ate at the beach cafe "Pearl" - a two-level building with a white roof, which is located next to the hotel. They cook superbly there, you can order any size of crabs, lobsters and bargain for their cost. Russian menu, everything is clear, and almost 3 or even 4 times cheaper than in a hotel. Everything is always fresh! ! Were very satisfied! I recommend trying the shark fin soup there - it's something!!! ! We have tried almost everything there - NO complaints !!! ! SUPER!!!
Next to Lila is Cavelosim. This is a settlement where you can take a walk, buy souvenirs. You can get there by taxi, for 150 rupees directly from Lila. We went mainly to the SAGA shopping center. There is a Watson pharmacy near the SAGA shopping center, we often went there, or rather, we always went there. There you can buy everything from groceries to medicines, change money at a favorable rate! Worth to visit.
What else can I write... The rest was gorgeous. I recommend the hotel to everyone - this is a VIP vacation. The staff is very polite and smiling, there is a Russian girl Anna at the reception who will help in case of emergency.
