Usually, I don't like to write reviews. …I only write if things are really bad, to warn people. This hotel is an exception… This is the 3rd time in India, we mostly stay in triplets, this hotel was chosen purely by chance. For the price, it was not the cheapest of similar offers, but my wife chose it. … More ▾ Usually, I don't like to write reviews. …I only write if things are really bad, to warn people. This hotel is an exception… This is the 3rd time in India, we mostly stay in triplets, this hotel was chosen purely by chance. For the price, it was not the cheapest of similar offers, but my wife chose it... We flew from Kyiv by Air Arabia via Sharjah, respectively, we arrived very early... Instead of a bus, we were met by a jeep, so we were at the hotel at 6 in the morning... In advance we paid for an early check-in (I recommend it to everyone), but it wasn’t there... We arrived at the hotel, and everyone was sleeping))) Having quickly woken everyone up, including the owner of the hotel Simran, we began to poke a piece of paper with early check-in in the face.... In general, we for a while they settled in a huge room in the second building... Like before dinner. We drank delicious tea . . I didn’t feel like sleeping, so we decided to go for a walk... The time is 7 in the morning, the best time to walk. ) We took money from an ATM (exchangers are still closed at this time) and went towards Candolim. On the way, we met our bus, with fellow countrymen from Kyiv.... By the way, who cares about money and wants to get to the hotel as soon as possible, you can take a taxi from the airport.... It’s not very expensive, but quickly and comfortably...
In general, the first day began... Time in Goa flies very quickly, so I recommend planning your vacation in advance and try to stick to this plan...
You can talk about the rest for a long time and endlessly, briefly and usefully about the hotel.
The hotel is designed for Hindus, and the main restaurant specializes in Punjabi cuisine (this is such a state in India). There are breakfasts, but they are designed for Indians, so I recommend taking something with you that you like (cereals, your favorite coffee, etc. ). We had supper and lunch in different places, since there are a lot of them. For fast food lovers or those who are tired of Indian food, Goa has KFC and Pizza Hut.
The rooms are cleaned every day, everything you need is in the rooms, if something is missing, contact the reception, only please in English, not everyone understands the great and mighty, and even more so in such a great and huge country like India. By the way, the owner of the hotel Simran speaks a little and understands a little.
What is missing in the room (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, washcloth or something else) - you can buy at the supermarket, it is located next to the hotel.
There is a wonderful gazebo in the hotel, near the pool... We spent our evenings and nights in it... With friends from Kislovodsk (Misha and Sasha), from Moscow-Max and girls from Dnepropetrovsk Yulia and Ira... Well, of course, with our Indian friends Simran and Pasha... By the way, Pasha is a friend of Simran and the owner of a travel agency (he speaks good Russian), you can safely contact him on excursions, mobile communications and just contact)))
I can say one thing, the hotel is worthy of its three stars, but the main thing is with what mood you go on vacation and who you spend time there... When you feel good, you will not pay attention to the fact that there are lumps in the semolina, time was not cleaned in the room and for all garbage.
I wish everyone a good rest, who will go, say hello to Pasha and Simran from Mom Vika and Dima S Candolim)

We were just delighted with the service and the hotel. Friendly staff, very hospitable owners of the hotel. We arrived at 6 in the morning. They settled immediately, although they could at 14-00, as according to the rules (we had a similar situation in Egypt). At first they gave a number above the road. It was noisy (the hotel faces the main street of Calangute). … More ▾ We were just delighted with the service and the hotel. Friendly staff, very hospitable owners of the hotel. It was noisy (the hotel faces the main street of Calangute). They asked to change the number. We were moved to another room without question, which was better than ours and at the same time they did not take any additional payment. The food is monotonous, but as for breakfast, it was good. The rooms have LCD TVs, air conditioners, natural wood furniture, huge beds with new orthopedic mattresses and perfect cleanliness. Free Internet. Out of 5 points, I would boldly give 4+, and given that this is INDIA and a 3 * hotel (respectively, the price) - I highly recommend this hotel. If we have another rest in GOA, we will be happy to stay at this hotel again.

We rested in Tangerine in February, the hotel is very noisy, schoolchildren come and live in rooms of 8-9 people. They constantly call the room and on the phone to look at the Europeans. And so all 14 days... yes, at 2 am they pranced. The rooms are cleaned badly, the bed is not changed, but the sand is swept away and filled. … More ▾ We rested in Tangerine in February, the hotel is very noisy, schoolchildren come and live in rooms of 8-9 people. The rooms are cleaned badly, the bed is not changed, but the sand is swept away and filled. There is nothing if you come to the restaurant after 8 am, schoolchildren and students sweep away everything. What remains is some kind of pea hominy and tea with milk. The pool is generally a joke! In the evening, a battle comes out and scatters bleach from a bowl with a hand, in the morning they collected leaves and all disinfection with a net. True, we never bathed there looking at it. Only the good sea saves!

So we were told by the guide Oksana to all our claims about the Tangerine hotel. North Goa is really a vacation spot for savages and hippies. Very, very dirty. The sea is not less than a kilometer from any hotel. There is no toilet, no shower, nothing on Calangute beach, a real savage vacation. There are many cafes in which unsanitary conditions reign, but you can still eat. … More ▾ So we were told by the guide Oksana to all our claims about the Tangerine hotel. In general, the atmosphere of North Goa is suitable only for young people, although the prices are too high for everything, in comparison with the south. In the above mentioned hotel there is nothing but a tiny pool and 4 sun loungers around it. In a separate building there is a cafe-dining room, where a continental breakfast is served in the morning (this is 2 pieces of white bread + an egg in any form and tea, coffee). The rooms are large but clunky. If I had found reviews about this hotel on the Internet, I would not have chosen it. BUT! The Russians have not yet gone to him, he is only 2 years old, and accordingly there are no reviews. Photos from the hotel website (you can find it on Google), they look beautiful plus a beautiful name, but in reality everyone lies about the beach, the beach is public without amenities, it’s 1.5 km to go to it. The real price of living in this hotel is 10 bucks per day (information from the hotel manager). So choose this hotel only if you have any idea about the rest in North Goa.
