Overall it's not bad, but there are a lot of locals there. We walked about 30 minutes on foot. We also visited the beaches a little further away - Vagator, Morzhim and Ashvem. the last one is really cool. Arpora has a night market every Saturday. You can see, but honestly the prices there are inflated specifically. Cheaper in the same market in Calangute to bargain and buy the same thing 2 times cheaper than there. For food at the hotel. only breakfast and that sad one. Tea/coffee, bread, butter, jam. And this is every day. Basically, we always ate at the Haney cafe, which is opposite the hotel. Everything there is very tasty and not expensive. The waiters speak Russian, Russian music plays. you can buy fresh shrimp or crabs or a shark at the sea market, according to your taste, bring it to this cafe and ask to cook it. For 300 rupees you will be prepared a chic dish from your prey) the climate is super, the water in the sea is super, everything is great, we really liked it. I also advise you to visit excursions - there is a very interesting "Goa in one day". the guide is very expensive, if you take local 3 times cheaper. Usually locals give out advertisements on beaches and markets. . . This is a very interesting country, it is worth visiting, and the Renton Manor hotel is a great place to stay for the night! )))))

You can get there on foot in 20-25 minutes, or by tuk-tuk in 5-7 minutes (cost 100 rubles). We ourselves chose a more budget hotel, because. We understood that we would be in it very little! Have a great holiday everyone!! !

There is no merit in this barn with gray sheets, dirty rooms, shitty breakfast, scumbag hotel workers and thieves. We got $1.000 from the safe, our friends got $500 and $100, the tourists also got $100, $200, $400, in short, everyone got it. Nasty creatures, they at least know how hard it is to earn this money.

Why should I love them with their garbage Goa? After I visited Thailand, Bali, Philippines, Mexico, Australia, Palau, United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, China, one wonders why the hell. . . I stumbled into this old Goa.

hello everyone)) rested in india from 17 to 28 december 13. the flight went fine, the transfer to the hotel too, but the check-in was just a disaster. We arrived at the hotel at 10:00 at the reception, there was an announcement that they would check in at 16:00, but if we pay 20 bucks, then we will check in right away. Of course, we began to be indignant that check-in was everywhere at 12, we called Coral Treval, as it was our tour operator, but they couldn’t help us. Hindus do not know a single word in Russian. we were offered to leave things at the reception and go for a walk. But what a walk after 7 hours of summer and 2 hours of travel to the hotel. My boyfriend immediately plunged into the pool and fell asleep on a sun lounger, I stayed next to the suitcases, my friend went to the beach. In the first hour, I could not stand it anymore, woke up the guy and left to look at the surroundings, and I really wanted to eat. A friend returned before us and at 14 o'clock she was already handed the keys to the room, in short, they just extorted money, that's all! The room, in principle, was normal, especially since we were there only late at night. . You have to take a taxi to the beach, we agreed for 100 rupees one way, and agreed at a certain time that he would pick us up. There were breakfasts, juices, tea, coffee, milk, butter and jam, all this suited me, and those who wanted a heartier breakfast could go across the road to the Honey cafe for 360 rupees, which, translated into our 180 rubles, could have breakfast for two. The dish was called an English breakfast, it included 2 eggs, 2 toast, 2 sausages, bacon, potatoes, mushrooms, fresh juice, tea or coffee. We dined in necks on Baga Beach in Sams Beach Cafe, there is an excellent menu and good prices, they even found a semblance of okroshka, it was called vegetable raita, if you order, say know spice, otherwise everything will burn with a blue flame from spices and chili)))). We hung out on the beach until evening. We were in the LPK club, we had a great time, the entrance for girls was free, for guys 1500 rupees, drinks are all free, we went there by taxi for 600 rupees one way. We were on Arambol beach, there is a fresh lake on one side, and the sea on the other, so there was a choice where to swim))) Rastamans climbed uphill to Baba to smoke chilim))) smeared with yellow clay, made wishes and washed it all off in the lake )) it was fun to watch them)) There was also something to see on Vagator beach. We took a tour of the temples in the state of Karnataka, I liked it very much, but the road is really tiring, the tour included a visit to Palolem beach, everywhere they say about it that it is a bounty beach with white sand. But when they saw this beach, they were severely disappointed, the beach was no different from the others, neither by nature, nor by sand, they could not eat there, in every cafe the menu is designed for Vegs. but we wanted meat)) We took an excursion on the beach for $65. Dollars were changed near the hotel in the Baba store, rubles were also taken in exchange, but the exchange rate on Baga was higher, so they tried to exchange money there. They bargained in the shops, having heard the price, they immediately divided it in half and even dumped it a little more, if the price did not suit us, they left, and they ran after us and agreed to our conditions. On the beach I bought 2 strings of pearls for 1500 rupees, for ours it is 700 rubles. A friend bought in a jewelry store, opposite the hotel, a 1-carat diamond for only 30.000 rubles. , I ordered gold earrings with garnet and zirconium, I paid 7000 of our rubles for 5 grams of gold, I paid in rubles, I didn’t even exchange it, I liked the quality of work, I regret that I didn’t order a bracelet a little earlier, I didn’t have time to make it. We were at the night market, it was located not far from the hotel. Pts everything was cool, live music and a million stalls, bought everyone gifts. Baba has a large selection of medicines in the store that really help, increase immunity, reduce sugar, purify the blood, and all sorts of cosmetics, I regret that I found out about this late, so if you are planning to go, read on the Internet. Here are a few examples: neem-blood cleansing, mashashringi-lowering sugar, buzzing-improving immunity, tulsi-for colds, their signature herbal jam for the whole family to increase immunity chavonprash (very specific thing, but you get used to it and it no longer seems so strange )))) Pts satisfied with the trip, 11 days was not enough for me, I wanted to see a lot more.Iwantmore!!!!Youcanseethephotosonthepageincontacthttp://vk.com/id30554852

Rested with a friend for 2 weeks in April 2010 in the north of Goa at the Svelton Manor hotel. It was an unexpected decision to go to Goa, it was the beginning of April, I wanted warmth, the sea and something new and unexpected... we stopped in Goa. Having bought tickets, we intensively began to search for information on the Internet about such a place called Goa : ) A lot of interesting and intriguing things are written “Goa Syndrome”, “People come there, tear their passports there and stay forever”, etc.

Rested with a friend for 2 weeks in April 2010 in the north of Goa at the Svelton Manor hotel.
It was an unexpected decision to go to Goa, it was the beginning of April, I wanted warmth, the sea and something new and unexpected... we stopped in Goa.
Having bought tickets, we intensively began to search for information on the Internet about such a place called Goa : )
A lot of interesting and intriguing things are written “Goa Syndrome”, “People come there, tear their passports there and stay forever”, etc... and we went to Goa with incomprehensible feelings...
We flew with tour operator Pegasus. Flying 7.5 hours seemed a bit long, but it's worth it...
Just getting off the plane, we felt impossible humidity, stuffiness and thought: “how can we live in such a climate for 2 weeks? ”... Pegasus met us and put our suitcases on the bus and we went to the hotel
While driving to the hotel, we watched the picture, the dirt on the streets, everything is so poor and meager, although we knew where we were going - India....but we still expected a little something else... in the end we tuned in to the idea that we would not bother with comfort, but we would break away 2 weeks and see around as much as possible )))
Liked the hotel. Lovely two-room suites, clean, air-conditioning worked well. One negative is annoying ants in the kitchen… Breakfast: standard English breakfast: egg, tomato, coleslaw, toast, jam, butter, coffee, juice.
At the reception, not very pleasant staff, a little rude, often they were not even there. And I was also struck by the fact... we leave the hotel at 12.30 at night on the disk, and as we observe, the gates are already closed and there is no staff at the reception, so we looked for them for half an hour, found them and they, as if nothing had happened, did not pay we were paid attention and they said that at 12 at night they close the hotel and everything... it’s normal in general, they came to rest, it’s called, but we are under some kind of arrest... not wanting to open the gates, they threatened us that we would have problems, then I expressed everything that knew and didn’t know in English how cute they opened it and after this incident they didn’t even greet us)))
Apart from this incident, the hotel is good!
We went to the Tropicana coffee shop for a walk. Special thanks to the guys from Tropicana-Baba and Tony, they always smile, they cook very tasty-yum-yum... there were no stomach problems for 2 weeks)
At the expense of the sea, in Calangute the water is clean, the entry into the sea is smooth... We also went to the beaches of Arambol, Vagator, Candolim and Palolem paradise beach. I advise everyone to go there ; )
Party. We visited Hil-Tope, a healthy trance party; Mambo (Baga) - there are a lot of Russians, r'n'b music is very good; Titos (also Bug) no at all; Westende is also cool; if you want to feel a real party-you in Shiva Well…
And of course, you must visit the Night market. An indescribable atmosphere there, live performances, incredible instruments, a bunch of clothes, having a good bargain you can buy a thing for a penny; )
Excursions. We took an excursion from Pegasus for the whole day, 3 in 1, these are: elephant riding and swimming with them, a spice plantation and a waterfall. And we also went by taxi to Palolem beach on our own, for the whole day with an overnight stay... it's just heaven - white sand, palm trees above the sky and a bunch of palm trees, a paradise beach... )))
The Goans themselves really liked it, everyone knows English since childhood, everyone smiles, greets... very peaceful people)))
At the expense of dirt... it depends on who goes there for what....and who needs what from rest...
Personally, from the second day, we generally joined this life... bought Alibaba panties... rode bikes at night, went to trance parties, swam in the sea, sunbathed, admired the sunsets and generally did not pay attention to the garbage around... just Relax...
If you are going there, you must understand where you are going… it is EXOTIC in any of its manifestations… not quite clean around, but it doesn’t matter when you are immersed in all this, and life there flows measuredly, calmly… people are always late there… there is no hypocrisy , negative... only PASITIVE and complete relaxation to the music of trance!
2 weeks passed unnoticed and we were back in Moscow, and only then did we understand what the Goa syndrome was... we merged into ordinary life for at least a month... everything seemed so simple, where there are no problems and grief, that everyone is happy and just glad that they live! Goa is another world, unusual and alluring!

The hotel is quite decent. Service is polite. Breakfast is poor - only bread, jam, butter, coffee, tea. There is a karaoke bar with a lot of Russian pop music. The guide asks a lot for excursions, for example, elephants cost $ 120, and we went to the local and bought for $ 40.

The guide asks a lot for excursions, for example, elephants cost $ 120, and we went to the local and bought for $ 40. The guide is only in English. Who understands well - it's great! then we took three more excursions with him in the same salon. Goa is dirty. The hotel told us that theft is possible and that they are not responsible. We asked not to clean our room and took the key with us. As soon as we arrived, we were settled on the 6th floor, where lizards constantly climbed up to us. who does not tense up is not afraid of these babies, then the number is good. the most important thing from the balcony was a beautiful view of the courtyard. and palm trees around. But to go up to 6, we were tediously asked to move us to the first one. A couple of times there was a musical evening near the pool where the Hindu sang famous English songs. He sang pretty well. There are many cafes nearby. Hindus willingly bargain. We went to the night market, not impressed. Although there was some kind of performance, but the goods are the same as everywhere else and the prices are higher. although I bought flip flops there, they asked for 850 bought for 250 rupees. Indians are humble and friendly. We visited almost all the excursions that are famous. Loved the waterfall tour. But we went to swim dolphins, but practically didn’t see them as such. but on the other hand, we were taken to a deserted beautiful beach, fed with a variety of products, and in general, I did not regret it. Moreover, the tour cost only 17 dollars.

Either the husband beats his wife, or the children blow up firecrackers... It is not possible to sleep in the morning. Exactly at eight in the morning every day, a grandfather comes out of a house that looks like a toilet with a toothbrush in his mouth and walks with it for about 30 minutes. We already knew if the grandfather left, the time was 8.00. If it’s fun for someone to look at the life of Hindus, then you can. but you won't get enough sleep. because the doors and windows are wooden there is no soundproofing. Get ready in the morning to listen to the voice of the grandmother screaming: Jamaa-a-a-a-a-a-al! or A-a-a-ali-i-i!

The breakfast is poor (tea, coffee, butter, bread, toaster, jam), someone in the air-conditioning room can ask for scrambled eggs for breakfast, but they do not warn about it. Our friends had air conditioning in our room and they learned that they were supposed to have scrambled eggs for breakfast only 2 days before departure.
Very good cafe next to the hotel on the second floor. They have very tasty tomato soup. In India, very tasty naan cakes.
