I was in Goa with a friend at the end of February 2009. We chose a hotel for a long time and, since we were somewhat limited in terms of funds, in the end we chose Beach Classic. I must say right away that Goa is beaches with golden sand, warm sea, sun, blue sky without a single cloud and complete relaxation. Heaps of rubbish on the street, old shabby furniture and antediluvian air conditioner - after a couple of days, all this begins to seem so insignificant. But back to the topic. The hotel consists of several small buildings. We were settled in the furthest on the second floor. When we opened the door of our room, we were a little shocked: the room had obviously not been renovated for a long time. In one word - poor. But we knew where we were going, so we quickly recovered from the shock : ). The room consisted of three rooms: a "living room", a small kitchen (albeit without a stove for some reason) and a bedroom. The furniture in our room was wrought iron, we visited friends in the neighboring building - their room was more decent: massive wooden furniture, two balconies. We had one balcony, and somewhere around a third was occupied by the outdoor unit of the air conditioner. But there was still enough space for two chairs. . Of the furniture in the bedroom, there was only a wardrobe and something like a cabinet-stand for a suitcase. In the kitchen there was a table with two chairs, a refrigerator, which, by the way, worked properly all week of our stay, along the window - a working area with a sink. In the first room, which I decided to call the "living room" after all, there was a small table, a sofa, a couple of armchairs and a TV stand. There were many channels, one in Russian, in my opinion. The bathroom is something! "Shower Cabin" - a corner fenced off by a curtain, actually a push and a sink. I must say, there was never a shortage of hot water. Towels were changed regularly. We were cleaned every day, even all sorts of squiggles were twisted on the bed from towels : ). Pts. nicely : ). In general, I can’t say anything bad, everything was very civilized for two stars. Poor but clean. By the way, about food. Breakfasts were quite normal: freshly squeezed juice (watermelon or pineapple), boiled eggs, scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs, cereal with milk, toast, a piece of butter, jam and tea or coffee to choose from. The coffee, by the way, was pretty good. Instead of cereal, you could have asked for oatmeal. . We had dinner a couple of times at the hotel, but, firstly, it is more expensive, and secondly, their cooks do not cook very tasty. We liked to eat in shacks. Well, a separate topic is Old Monk rum - a really cool thing. As far as I'm not a drinker, I even liked this rum with cola. On the beach, each shack has its own sunbeds, if you take at least a bottle of water, you can use them for free. The road to the beach takes about 5 minutes in time. There was no particular stench, as they say in some of the reviews I found. The beach is surprisingly clean. In conclusion, I can say that we were very pleased with the rest, the hotel is normal, the staff is helpful, the sea is warm, the beach is clean. I did not want to return to Moscow at all.
