Rested in this hotel from 28.02. 2010-15.03. 2010. with a friend. Prepared for the worst. As you understand, we went to India for the first time, read a lot about the country, also about northern Goa and about hotels (there, if memory serves, only two fives), but what was our surprise and then just delight from this hotel. So do not look that he is 2+, just feel free to go there. Now in order.
The hotel is very cozy and cute. The grounds and rooms are cleaned every day. Palm trees, flowers grow all around, almost every day on the territory in large bowls they change compositions of flowers. Everything is lit up in the evening.
Rooms: spacious, clean, clean well, no insects.
Food: they promise that there will be only breakfast, but it pleasantly surprises. Because this breakfast is just like in all of our favorite Turkish-Egyptian direction. Only without the hustle and bustle. Everything is very tasty, very diverse, several different fresh juices (really tasty), and tea and coffee will be brought to you when you need it, and not like in other hotels when you grab it for yourself. Also, you will not regret if you dine here, the price is a little more expensive in street cafes, but here you will be sure about your stomach (if someone is straining about this). Such a hearty breakfast as there is enough for you for part of the day, that's for sure.
Staff: very friendly and helpful, everything will change, everything will be prompted. Because we didn’t have a beach vacation and we constantly climbed there all over the state, we were periodically lost at the hotel : ) so how worried they were and when we nevertheless returned from another outing, almost all of us asked where we were gone. And the director of the hotel and the senior manager are generally extremely sincere people.
Location: the hotel is not located near the beach itself, but you have to walk to it. so that's good as well. By the way, this is the Calangute beach area. The beach itself is dirty, but we did not swim on this beach. we just went to a new beach every day or just walked to some. Sun loungers on the beaches, as it were, are paid and belong to cafes. You just buy a cocktail or some food and a lounger for your day. Since the hotel is located in the settlement itself, there are many shops, cafes around, there is a karaoke bar a hundred meters away. A little further there is a fruit market.
A huge request to those who are traveling, remember that you are visiting and behave decently, do not behave as if you owe everything just because you arrived there. because as you are to people, so they are to you!
Have a nice rest, India is a very interesting country and those who want to see the dirt see it, and those who want to see the culture will have a great time.
