Not far from the hotel there was a Catholic church. Our windows overlooked the park and in the evenings, after sunset, services were held there. For a very long time they sang, shouted, prayed, blew up firecrackers on something like a barbecue (we looked a couple of times on the way from the beach). All in all, this is not for the faint of heart. We weren't often at home in the evening, but that was enough.
The worst thing for me was the daily overcoming of the path to the beach. It's actually not very far. I like walking. But crossing the road in India is still extreme. Therefore, after breakfast, we tried to plan the day so as not to return to the hotel until the evening.
From the good
Entertainment is organized daily. But if you don't speak English, it won't be fun. Karaoke. Indian folk performances with songs and dances (interesting). Charades, crocodile, all sorts of contests, etc.
Calling from the reception was allowed. So there was a local connection with the guide (whose day with fire) was.
For food (she often interests everyone). We only had breakfast. We didn’t want to be tied to the hotel because of the food, and it’s not the most important thing when traveling. So. Breakfast is the same every day (coffee or tea, toast, 2 types of jam, milk, butter, everything else for an additional fee). Once, out of curiosity, we dined at the hotel. Prices are the same as in institutions in the village. Everything was delicious. We generally liked the local food. And not only in Goa, there were also excursions in other states.
Total. I would not recommend this hotel as a place to stay. Unless you really want to fly, and other hotels are already taken.

On the advice of tourists, he took with him a padlock, which is hung on bicycles. He did not hang for long, 2 days. I had to remove the lock. The next day they stole 600 bucks and a DVD player!

Hotel 2* Was in December 2009.12 days. All liked it. For 2 *, in my opinion, just a chic hotel, I thought everything would be worse. The rooms are clean, cleaned every day. There is a water heater in the shower, which must be turned on in advance, but it heats up very quickly - 5-10 minutes, so there is always hot water! A small inconvenience that the taps with hot and cold water are separate! : -) but everything is provided and there is a bucket and a ladle! air conditioners are not in all rooms, but everywhere there is a huge fan under the ceiling, which, in principle, is enough.

Due to the high humidity, the laundry does not dry very well, it is better to dry it under a fan. The staff is friendly, smiling and always ready to help. Breakfast at the hotel, I must say, is modest - toast, two types of jam, butter, tea, coffee, milk and juice, all in unlimited quantities. It was enough for me, but lovers of a hearty breakfast can cook an omelet for a fee. I was lucky enough to get to the Christmas dinner buffet. fish, meat and vegetable dishes of Indian cuisine, fruits. everything is tasty, but modest. drinks for a fee. Here I would like to express my "fi" to the Russian tour operator, who imposed this dinner for $ 70 !! ! (it was impossible to refuse) in fact, dinner cost $ 20 and no one imposed it.

The quirky ambience, homely atmosphere and warm welcome make this hotel stand out from others in the area. I really liked the hotel - cozy and comfortable rooms, tasty and inexpensive food. All at the highest level. I also liked the fact that the Donbass tourist center correctly designed everything for this hotel.
