Don't expect from Indians what you sometimes can't expect from yourself. Well, they will not understand, the mentality is different. Do not be lazy to bring everything to mind. Half an hour of wasted time and joy for several days. If you need to clean the room and change the bed, leave the keys at the reception and ask them to clean up, and everything will be done. The fan kept the heat and mosquitoes away. We did a big stupid thing by listening to one of the reviews when we brought mosquito repellent with us! Local mosquitoes do not know this smell! These bloodsuckers did not understand that this smell should be feared, on the contrary, it seems they were having a party and flew in to sniff. I had to buy local spirals and a fumigator, and they are cheaper here! The mosquitoes subsided, but the most stoned still did their bloody work. The only salvation from these vampires is creams and aerosols applied to the skin and hair (and even those brought from here from Russia)!!!! ! Get yourself what you want!! ! They asked for a room so that the windows looked somewhere to the side... not onto the pool or onto the street....as a result, the windows overlooked the backyard of the cafe....albeit not very beautiful, but quiet. And they didn't regret it. At first there were a lot of Indians in the hotel, but they didn't bother. . . they came to Goa to have a rest for the festival of colors, they behaved quietly and friendly. . . When the Indians left, the Russians stopped by! That's where it was a shame for Russia! This drunk, fat, boorish cattle (a Russian company, I didn’t really look closely, as they saw them by the pool, turned around and left) managed to rent a motorcycle in a hotel and crash it, and then also refused to pay for repairs! By the pool, these drunken brainless bodies yelled with a good obscenity, jumped into the pool with screams, dousing frightened guests with water, scattered cigarette butts, scandalized with the staff, insulting him. And yelling “Tagil” was just the height of perfection….
By the pool, a guy named Purno is constantly spinning like an administrator. Delivers beer if available, gives out towels. He speaks fluent Russian. We resolved all issues through him. We rented a scooter and took a tour. The tour cost $30 per person when it costs $100 through a guide. Scooter, if taken for a day - 300 rupees per day, if for 5 then 250 rupees per day. Gasoline at a gas station is 50-60 rupees per liter, if you buy it in bottles on the street, then 100 r. Also, don't forget that there is left-hand traffic and before rolling out onto a busy highway, I practiced on an empty road behind the hotel... there are those too. It does not hurt to have a map of India and a navigation program in your smartphone. Without GPS, I would not have dared to go to distant beaches... maybe I didn’t even take a scooter at all!
With the Indians, always be on the alert. In any situation, they will try to deceive and outwit you. No need to be offended by this, they are like children, you just need to keep this in mind. Always count your change. When renting a bike, take a picture of it from different angles so that its owner also gets into the frame…

On the road, everyone is constantly beeping. I, a driver with 12 years of experience, never managed to comprehend this intricate language of communication between Indian drivers, but I myself also bleeped with all my might....In the style of "Spartacus Champion".
Every day, being there, I wanted to spit in the face of the one who wrote in the comments that the food there is cheap....the food there is like we have in cafes and restaurants, we have in Ulyanovsk. But if a resident of Ulyanovsk or a similar region goes to India....then he will eat like at home only in a restaurant.
Therefore, to everyone who travels to India with the hope that there is cheap food, first correlate your income with the income of the one who writes that everything is cheap there, otherwise you may expect a very unpleasant surprise. Personally, this surprise did not touch us much....Saved by ATMs. BY THE WAY! Russians without the help of local natives will not be able to cope with their ATMs the first time, so don’t even try. They work in a completely different way, do not torture yourself or an ATM. As you leave the hotel immediately to the right. A security guard sits in front of the glass door, and there is an ATM machine behind the door. There is also a bank branch, behind another glass door opposite the ATM, employees are sitting and working… ask them and they will be happy to help you withdraw the local currency…. For 1000 rupees, the commission is 100, for 5000 the commission is 200... in general, it is quite acceptable! For approximate orientation in prices, we can assume that 1 rub. = 1 rupee
But the most profitable of course is to pay with cards immediately for the goods, if you buy something in a supermarket. If you leave the hotel and go left....Then on the left side after 20-25 minutes of walking and deftly jumping out from under the wheels of beeping scooters there will be a Newtons supermarket. And a little further "Dolphin". They accept all cards for payment without any problems. The prices are of course fixed and not high.

In the markets, many are already aware, of course, you have to bargain. But again, be careful. Always have an exchange to pay without change...
In general, returning to the description of the hotel, it is very good that there is a pool! The water is clean and doesn't smell. It helps a lot when lazily trudging to the ocean. The area is clean and well maintained. And the cunning Purno will always help if anything.
