Good location (all shops and cafes nearby), there are many taxis nearby - you can go anywhere for obscenely little money.
The hotel itself is cool: spacious rooms, everything you need is in the room, including towels and toiletries. The bed is clean, the room is clean, the furniture is not new, but neat.
Breakfast by Indian standards is good, there is plenty to choose from. The tea is very tasty : ) There is a bar where you can relax in the evening.
The staff is smiling, but not intrusive - tips are optional, this does not affect the quality of cleaning in the room.
In general, everyone was very satisfied and we plan to return to this hotel again next year, but I think we will choose October, when there are not so many tourists yet.

GENERAL: the hotel is very good, I would give not 3 *, but a full 4. I recommend it to everyone.

LOCATION: 1 minute walk from a busy street with shops and cafes, a minute or 200 meters from the sea. the hotel is located on the so-called first line, i. e. , stationary buildings cannot be erected closer to the sea. In the last days of December, right in front of the hotel, the SUNBURN music festival was held, nothing but a large number of people did not bother us, the music ended at about 10 pm.

ACCOMMODATION AND ROOMS: check-in immediately upon arrival, the room was given a category higher than I booked, not a standard, but a suite, but on the ground floor. I didn’t like the room, because it’s dark and damp, you can’t open the curtains, since the first floor and you find yourself on public display, you can’t sit quietly on the balcony either.
with my problem, together with the guide, I went to the reception, where they told me that at the moment there were no available rooms. I was upset: (((, the night was tormented (due to dampness, it is very difficult to breathe) and I decided to send "heavy artillery" in the form of a loved one in the morning to sort it out, as they themselves called us and said that another number was free, which completely tripled us: located on the third floor, bright, clean and with a huge terrace. There are no living creatures such as bedbugs, lizards, etc. in the room. Furnishings: bed, wardrobe, TV, refrigerator, kettle.
the only negative is that the safe is not in the room, but at the reception and is available from morning until 18:30, i. e. you need to plan the day so that the money does not suddenly run out at night.

SERVICE: I was very pleased with the quick and proactive solution to the problem with the number - see above.
they clean up well too, a loved one left a tip of about $ 2 every 3 days, for this the cleaner made us various bizarre figurines from towels - I have never seen such a flight of fancy anywhere before. our room was visited by a towel crocodile, a Christmas turkey, a turtle, a dinosaur ....there were also different flowers and it seems sweetie: )))))) in the restaurant, the service is sooo leisurely, but this, in my opinion, is a feature of India as a whole, and not specific hotel. Gala dinners - bullshit, if you can refuse when booking - refuse, a meager set of food and DJ music. dinners were given to us as a gift from the tour operator, but for compatriots who paid $ 70 per person for this dubious pleasure, it was a shame.

FOOD: I can’t say anything about breakfast, we didn’t go even once (not fans of eating in the morning). According to the neighbors, the food was good. During the day, the hotel restaurant also works, but for money.
you can eat quite tasty if you are too lazy to go to the city.

BEACH: for my taste, Candolim is not the most beautiful beach in the north of Goa, but the liveliest one is the best. Beautiful beaches are located mainly in the villages: two shops, one restaurant - that's all the entertainment. True, for those who are going to take a scooter, this will not be a problem.

Hello! We rested together with a young man for 2 weeks. We went from the tour operator Intourist. They brought it, placed it quickly, but the rooms are of course meager, in general, as in the picture. What marred the rest was the bad manners of the staff, who began to wake up at 7-7.30 in the morning and talk loudly, stomp the stairs, rattle dishes and other household appliances! If you want to sleep, stay away from the kitchen and the restaurant! Breakfasts, if you have them included, then these are drinks, toast, jam, butter, the rest is on order (bacon, scrambled eggs), but cheap. The location of the hotel is close to the beautiful sea, but the path is past the smelly bushes. The hotel itself is in greenery and flowers, cozy and beautiful. The pool is clean! Now the main disadvantage: theft! Unfortunately, we ran into, they stole a chain and a pendant with a diamond from us, pulled it out of the bag. The loss was not discovered immediately. The manager was warned, but they didn’t help us in any way and didn’t compensate for the loss... It was a shock !! ! In general, use safes, locks and other security equipment, but it’s better not to take expensive things with you! Separately, about the tour operator, they were dissatisfied with the quality of service, this was especially felt when our flight was delayed, and we were warned late, and then disappeared altogether! If we did not have a local SIM card, it is not known how they would contact us! Fortunately, we both speak English and could communicate with the locals, but the very feeling of "abandonment" of the "indifference" of the tour operator gave an unpleasant aftertaste! All in all, be careful!! !

Externally, the hotel looks very advantageous compared to others. But until 11:30 they were waiting for check-in, because the previous guests had not left yet. All of us (there were 15 of us from Yekaterinburg) were given 1 room so that we could change clothes and leave our luggage before check-in. We must pay tribute to the hotel staff - it was all done with squats, bows and apologies. While the essence of the matter, we went to the sea. The sea, although with waves (which have always been there), is very warm, we liked it immensely! The room in which we were settled was on the 1st floor: 2 rooms, shower with toilet, air conditioning, 2 fans, refrigerator, TV, small teapot, glasses, mugs, spoons - modestly, but quite enough. The only thing was there was no hair dryer. The room was cleaned every day and the towels were changed. Each time after cleaning, masterpieces were laid out on our beds - swans, a turtle, a spider, palm trees, and washed to the conscience. In the room we did not come across a single insect, except for a butterfly, although the neighbors caught a rather big cockroach. We swam in the pool during the day, when it was impossible hell on the beach, they clean it every day. Breakfasts are not fattening, as in Turkey or Egypt, the so-called Continental - toasts, waiting, butter, tea (bags), coffee (instant), juice + very spicy Indian cuisine: rice, cakes. In principle, there is a menu no worse than any cafe. Everything is close - shops, exchange offices, cafes, the beach - at hand. If you have experience, you can take a bike - ride around the beaches and cities (do not listen to the Pegasus guides that it is forbidden - yes it is forbidden, but everyone takes it, the fine in the absence of rights is 500 rupees - about 450 rubles), but I warn you right away - movement it's crazy there. All the locals are very friendly - they will show you the way, and if you don’t find it, they will guide you, but by the end of the endless Hello, How are you? and so on fed up. It’s better with children in South Goa, and indeed, I wouldn’t take my own here, there is Turkey for this. This is life. But in general, I liked the country very much! Unusual culture, architecture, nature - India made us fall in love with itself once and for all! It is better for young people to go after the New Year, and it is better in February - the most fun! We will return there for sure! And I don't mind if it's Casablanca again!

Check-in to the room was expected (according to) at 10. They offered to put all things in one room, change clothes and rest) And so they did. About 10 they offered a room....Tin - the windows overlook the household yard. As it was thought that from early morning the noise and din - they refused... they offered another room)))) One floor BELOW !! ! And again and even BELOW!!! ! In the end, they gave me a room in the same building, but the windows overlooked the pool and cafe (it turned out to be a plus - free "cafe" wi-fi)
Number. Almost two rooms. Large bed and corner sofa. The three of us easily accommodated) The room is quite clean. There is everything you need. The only thing is that you need to immediately figure out which switches turn on and off (up to the point that sockets turn on). Plumbing in the room, surprisingly, many times better and more serviceable than in Turkey and Egypt. I don’t know what is the reason, it seems that the country is poorer...
Cleaned up regularly. Regular change of linen and towels. Although from conversations with other "settlers" it was clear that someone did not change their linen at all. I don't know. . . The maid))) was a nice guy. Asked - changed without question.
Breakfasts. Peculiar. Everything is sharp enough. Although, for my taste, it’s normal for the morning))) And there are toasts, butter, jams, coffee, tea, yupi juices)))
Swimming pool. Not deep. Clean. Cleaned and chlorinated regularly. Minus one - no sunbeds by the pool.
There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for children. This is a plus))))
To the sea-ocean almost 5-7 minutes leisurely. Beach. Beginning of the season. Dirty, but you could already see people taking out the garbage. On the beach there are sun loungers, mattresses, umbrellas, etc. , but all this is for extra. fee and you need to pay beach cafes, in front of which these sunbeds. Followed to impossibility strictly. In the morning, in area 7, I sat down on a sunbed and five minutes later an Indian stood and demanded a hundred rupees)))) Exoticaaa))))
In these same cafes you can spend the whole day, lunch, dinner....
river princess. A hefty ore carrier that has run aground. Poisons the landscape. NOT A RUSSIAN ship. Although it is written - Moscow... This is an English ship sold to a private company in India. She is now butting heads with the Government because of this ship... You just can’t get afloat and clean it ((((
Cafes. If you leave the hotel and go in the other direction from the sea, then in five minutes you will find yourself on a busy street with a darkness of cafes, shops, etc.... The currency is changed without problems. Dollar = 44 rupees. You can eat and drink in any cafe. But, from 14 to 19 they almost all have a break - they serve only some minimum from the menu. Perhaps the most famous cafe Lobster Pot (and the most expensive). I personally liked the other two (moreover, one of them, the coolest, was a stone's throw from the hotel, it's a pity I found out about it late). About the cafe - ask...
There is a large Newton's store - you can buy everything you need there... I made sure again - sometimes you shouldn't take different junk with you...
Excursions. "Pegasus" slightly parted. referred to the weather. Who cares - I will answer.
Goa... In general, this is a place for those who "understand". As the guide said, you either fall in love with India right away, or you never accept it. Yes, dirt on the streets, cows))) But is that really the point?? ? The sea, the ocean, nature and the sun. . . it all makes the cons so frivolous. . .
I will go there again. And more than once, I hope.
Рецепшен. Восход Утро Храм в Панадже Лобстер и краб в этом кафе. Хозяин кафе Понравивщееся кафе Бассейн

The hotel area is small, but everything is great and compactly placed... in my opinion, 3 buildings, each with its own name. lived in Iris.
I went myself, got a room on the 3rd floor (last), with a huge veranda, 2 straw sunbeds on the veranda, a table, a beautiful palm tree hung over my veranda, it was very cool! the room is large, clean, the bathroom is simple, but I don't need much. room cleaning every day. left 10-20 rupees - the room, as they say, was licked. the only thing that upset me - as soon as I bring fruit to the room - after 10 minutes there are ants on them. the housekeeper poisoned them for me - they don't give a damn ((
the hotel staff are wonderful, most took my email to write later, almost cried)))
The pool is small with lots of chlorine. there were ladies in the hotel for whom the waves on the sea were too big, so they spent all the time at the pool. and all the time they complained that everything was wrong))) all the time they compared it with Turkey all inclusive))) it was very funny to me. stardom in India is a loose concept. what the owner wanted to put - this will be)))
breakfast is one word. Jupi, toast, jam, tea bags and Jacobs coffee granules. but for a fee you will be bungled !! ! and coffee, and fresh juice, and scrambled eggs, well, everything... not expensive)
Excursions are very expensive! many sucked from the finger)
went to Dudsagar waterfall, spice plantation - so-so, for the whole day. it didn’t cost $60))) I didn’t regret what I did - I went to the Hampi temple complex. $320 - worth it. Jeep Toyota for three. Russian-speaking guide, answered all the questions, spoke perfectly, led us through the beautiful places of the complex... excursion for 2 days. 800 km from Goa. gorgeous, really. the most haunted of the entire trip, very impressive.
see the rest for yourself. took three taxis - 200 rupees each - went to Old Goa (the old capital), the taxi driver told everything, showed, led, explained. in English.
then myself, because the company I met decided to stay in the rooms and drink)), went for a boat ride in the evening in Panaji. unbelievably beautiful. 1.5 hours - about 120 rupees, plus a taxi round trip - 200 rupees.
once again went to Panaji in the afternoon. the same price for a taxi.
but I didn’t go to distant beaches - I can’t lie on the beach all day. and the company was counting on just such an option - 1100 rupees a minibus round-trip for 10x.
We also went to Arpora Market at night. colorful. Indians can be negotiated three times cheaper than the initial price. but the Europeans, who also trade there, can’t even bargain for rupees: the final price.
near the hotel in a cafe they ate lobster))) with a side dish, with a bottle of water and a salad - 600 rupees))) gorgeous!!! ! crab with garnish, salad and water - $4)))
regarding leather products: 3 bags, fakes for branded bag models, very high quality, 4 men's cosmetic bags for bath accessories, 3 key holders, a very good wallet - all leather - for all $ 100)))
in general, everything is very cheap, it is only expensive to move around the country, because gasoline is expensive

I was planning a DR, I really wanted to have a great rest: with the sun, warmth and exotic. The choice fell on Goa. The flight from Moscow took 7.20, went perfectly, without any shaking incidents. The hotel is very green, quiet, clean. The official language of the country is English and Hindi. We took only breakfast, but it happened that we ate elsewhere. Everything in the country is very cheap. One dollar is 4800 rupees, you really feel like a "millionaire from the slums" there : -) They have an average salary in the country of $20-20, and top managers have $150, so think about the prices. We drove from Pegasus, excursions were expensive, we took only the jungle and the capital of Goa: Panaja. At first they ate in different restaurants, there is a whole street of them, but then they chose a cafe next to the Toby hotel. Everyone there already knew us and even learned Russian words, we ordered lobster and king prawns + drinks and food on the DR, it cost us only 2500 rupees, where can you find this in Moscow? Were a couple of times at the disco: Baga, there is free admission for ladies and drinks are free, in unlimited quantities. For men, the entrance is 1200 rupees and drinks are unlimited. A lot of Russians. It's not in season right now. India is a real exotic, can not be compared with Egypt and Turkey. There is an ocean, however, very large waves, but we managed to plunge. Guys, highly recommend this hotel and this country!
