The most unpleasant moment was the theft of $ 300 from the safe in the room! They took part of the money in the expectation that I would not realize it right away! I insisted on calling the police, although it was of no use - I just spent the day driving around the police stations.
The owner of the hotel first tried to convince me that the amount was small, there was nothing to raise a fuss about.
The policeman who arrived (with whom, apparently, they are, if not related, then in neighborly relations) also tried to dissuade me in the mind of a “small loss”.
In general, it’s a long story, time and nerves, of course, they didn’t return the money, and I had to live for almost a month in the place where you were robbed.
Of the other significant disadvantages is the constant noise!
The hotel is near the road, the noise is either from transport, or from drunken people, or from neighbors (a "tagil" arrived, walking at full speed at night) - it was an exhausting horror of constantly interrupted sleep and lack of sleep.
And every morning you wake up from suffocating smoke - exactly at 5:30 a neighbor burned a garbage dump right under the windows, and you are forced to swallow this poisonous air until 7 in the morning!
What kind of yoga is there on the balcony - we must urgently run!
In the early days, I didn't have hot water. I asked what was the matter, convinced that tomorrow everything would be ok!
Several days went by, of course, to no avail.
Until I scared that I would write a review on booking.
Then they made water, however, in the last two days it disappeared again.
Everything else is like everywhere else in India. Cleaning only at your request.
Wi-Fi only at the reception, but there is nowhere to sit there.
In general, I don’t recommend it at all, only if you are a Spartan, and you don’t care.

By Indian standards, the hotel is not bad, it used to be called Anagha, we lived in it a couple of years ago, when it was still quite new. The location is good, however, in Mandrem (lower) there is a good location everywhere, because the village is small and everything is within walking distance.
According to the rooms: the description says about the suites and the bathroom with a bathtub. Didn't see it there.
This is a standard guesthouse with standard rooms: a bed (hard), a table, an iron wardrobe, a toilet, a shower, a TV, an air conditioner. From the bad: very sluggish Indians who launched everything. It’s not the first time I’ve been to Goa, I haven’t noticed dirt for a long time, but here it was already sickening in places.
There was a feeling that, in principle, no one had ever cleaned the toilet, there were wrappers from tampons lying in the drain on the floor (it can be seen from previous guests), the toilet was just all yellow, it didn’t flush, everything climbed back. They asked to clean the room, they cleaned it, again, probably, in order to clean the toilet, you have to leave a separate application, as there was dirt, it remained.
There were more breakfasts, there was just coffee in a thermos, toast, butter, and portioned jam. There is no separate room for food, they put it near the room on a table, on the terrace. Breakfast at about 9 am, if the Hindu has time to arrive or wake up. Very rarely all this was removed immediately, usually they came from the beach at two or three o'clock, the remains of breakfast were standing, crumbs, ants in the sugar bowl, etc.
Previously, each room had refrigerators, now they don’t, for some reason a couple stood next to the room on the terrace. We opened one, almost threw up: a moldy pineapple and everything around is moldy. As I understand it, he still lies there, being reborn into a different form of life.
There is Wi-Fi, but it does not reach the 3rd floor.
In general, what I wanted to say: as I already wrote above, the hotel is not bad, BUT, it is very, very run down, everything is slowly falling off and rotting. Perhaps, just during the season, the Indians were already tired and relaxed.
