Journey to Hampi
Hampi - the capital of the destroyed Vijayanagara Empire, is located in the state of Karnataka at a distance of 400 km from Goa. The area is very interesting for its landscape in the first place and of course well-preserved monuments. Many thanks to the guide Sergey for interesting stories during the trip and the girls from the Dream agency for quickly gathering a group, a comfortable bus. We completed the entire program along the route - we watched both sunset and sunrise, visited the Virupaksha temple and other temples, rode a round boat on the river, but really didn’t get to the Hanuman temple on the highest mountain, for visiting which you had to pay extra and time for it there was no more left. By the way, it would be worth taking a treat for the monkeys - of which there are a lot. The road itself is not very tiring with stops for breakfast and lunch. The hotel in Hampi is also not bad for its three stars.
