Good day everyone, I was sitting, reading other people's stories, and now I decided to share my own.

Preparatory stage

My aunt and I thought for a very long time where we should go, went to tour agencies, where we were offered only a vacation in Thailand. Upon arrival home, having studied everything that was possible about Thailand on google, we accidentally stumbled upon the Indian state of Goa. Our thoughts went on for a long time, and finally the tickets to Goa were in our hands =)

First Impressions

The Nord Ving Boeing arrived on time. 35 degrees of heat after -30 and the brains begin to blunt and boil a little. The stamp on the visa, the luggage, and now they are a fat crowd of black faces starting to scream like a taxi in the bazaar. They stand with signs shouting in their English the names of tour operators that they do not represent. Seeing the white faces of their guides, they moved to the bus. Sitting in the bus, we looked at the road with crazy traffic: a motorcycle on which a large family is traveling (6 people), large orange cars, etc.

The meeting with India was a success.

Having traveled by bus for about 1.5 hours and having passed 6 hotels, we finally got to ours, I note not the worst of the previous ones. On the territory of some trash cans, the size of a KAMAZ and a pungent smell of urine, in the Calangute area. Glory to the air conditioner in the bus, he helped adaptation. Our hotel was in Candolim. The hotel did not shock, a four-story building with the letter P. We went to the reception, took the key, and went to the room =) There were 2 beds in the room, a bedside table, a table, and a chair, that was enough, because you only sleep in the room =)

The food in Goa is varied, tasty and not very tasty. Since we spent most of our vacation in different places, we had to eat in different places, despite all the warnings on the Internet, and guides, we ate everything and everywhere =) You can try the menu of Tibetan, Indian, Chinese and even Italian cuisine in Goa. Portions are, frankly, heroic, a huge selection of seafood.

When choosing a fish, they brought us a choice of four different varieties of raw fish in sheke. Juices, juices from everything that is enough for fantasy for real pennies. We ate a lot and satiety, but after 10 days, we were drawn to our native food, we searched all the markets in search of sausages or sausages, mayonnaise and bread. Sausages in jars are canned and the price of mayonnaise is sky-high. Apparently those cows that walk along the beaches don't give much milk.

We bought a lot of things there, there are quality and not so good =) There are stores such as: adidas, nike, beneton, reebok, etc. (of course, the prices are ridiculous), and there are simple things of local tailoring, one can say so once = ) Local ali-baba pants cost 150 rupees, sundresses 250 rupees, slates 200 rupees =) But if you are a white person, then all these things will cost you exorbitantly =)

goodbye goa

There were literally a few hours left before the bus to Dabolim Airport arrived, and then tears simply flooded over me, I just did not want to leave Goa. Getting on the bus, I couldn’t hold back my tears, I was crying all the way to the airport =) We went into the building, checked in our luggage =) Stamp on the visa, there is no way back. Tourists rushed to the dutiks, take booze to friends and relatives. Landing was announced, and here again my tears ....

I consider it necessary to note that a vacation in Goa is not suitable for everyone. If you prefer service, expensive hotels, and "sedentary rest" welcome to Egypt or South Goa. Although I personally don’t understand why pay a lot of money for a flight and do the same sitting out of swimming trunks. And for true connoisseurs of freedom, I highly recommend north goa, only there you go wherever you want, eat whatever your stomach wants. Yes, there is a lot of garbage on the roadsides, yes there are Indians under every post, but this is their country, their life.

You don’t pay attention to this, there you pay attention to women walking in national saris of extraordinary beauty, to the incredible beauty of sunsets, to bright houses of all colors of the rainbow, there life is in color, in colors. Everyone who has been there will definitely come back, that's a fact. And the two weeks that we spent there, of course, are very short, if there was an option, we would have stayed for a couple of months.

If you have any questions write me and I will answer =)
