We stayed at the hotel for one night on a two-day excursion to Hampi. Having lived before in 4 * in Colva, we expected much more from the hotel.

First of all, the kitchen, because we were fed at the hotel three times: lunch, dinner and breakfast. The restaurant is an order of magnitude (10 times) worse than those 4 * hotel restaurants where we stayed in Colva and Vagator. Firstly, for lunch, I came across a long black hair in my plate, rather nasty in my mouth. Having demonstrated it to the waiter, I received a new portion, but after waiting until it was cooked. To be honest, it was the first time in my life in hotel restaurants! The experience is not pleasant. Then the assortment of the buffet: miserable. There is little food, there is practically no choice (for 5 *). After sitting in the restaurant for an hour, we did not wait for the dishes to be updated (adding food to the plates). And the restaurant service was kind of gloomy (or maybe it's hair? ). In a word, I will not recommend food in the restaurant of this hotel and will not return to it of my own free will.
The room turned out to be the usual mediocre. Not small, but not big either. Standard. But the shower in the room was dumbfounded again. It just did not work stock. At all. Fortunately, the floor of the shower was prudently "lowered" relative to the floor of the bathroom. But bathing ankle-deep in dirty soapy water was not a pleasure. I imagined the hair in my mouth and the quality of cleaning this room and shower, as well as those bright characters that caught my eye washing in the rivers from the window of a passing car. There was a complete feeling of neighborhood!
In the morning, before sunrise, the herds of tourists began to leave the hotel in time to see the sunrise. We thought that perhaps such dead rooms are offered only by “rusiko tourists” who dropped in for one night in Hampi on an excursion. But on the other hand, a decent hotel will never do that. Therefore, I will classify this hotel as NOT decent and personally I will try not to stay in it. Although I have not seen other hotels in Hampi. And I don't know what's going on there. Perhaps compared to them, the Hotel Krishna really is a palace, as its name suggests.
