There are many hotels in Tel Aviv. Most are located near the sea. However, only a few hotels are NOT across the road from the beach. One of them is the Renaissance Hotel. It is considered 5*. For an Israeli five-star hotel, Renaissance looks pretty decent. Especially from the inside - the result of a recent renovation.
The lobby is very stylish. The restaurant is large and at the same time quite cozy. Excellent SPA complex (indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi). The Renaissance Hotel has direct access to the beach (most hotels are across the road).
There are no problems with the service at the Renaissance Hotel - the staff is very friendly, requests and wishes are fulfilled quickly. It is important that the hotel has Russian-speaking staff.
The rooms in the hotel are different both in quality and size. I had a standard on the 5th floor (it's called comfort room). The windows faced south. And this means that nothing prevented you from enjoying the beautiful view of the embankment and the sea!
Of course, the higher the number, the better. And the decoration of the room is of better quality, and more of Tel Aviv and the sea can be seen from the balcony (if you're lucky, the windows will also face south). I was convinced of this myself - I met a tourist from Moscow at the reception, who lived in a better room (I found out at the reception about the deposit and I helped translate from Russian into Hebrew and vice versa). He invited me to his place and I did not miss the opportunity to photograph the amazing view from his room, which is called the executive room. The view was mesmerizing…
The food is excellent. I only had breakfasts - I dined in restaurants in the Old Port, which can be reached on foot. Lots of choices, all delicious and fresh. I also visited the lounge on the 16th floor - the same friend of mine spent it. There are free snacks and drinks all day. But this is only for guests from executive rooms.
I liked my number. Everything was new, everything worked properly.
But the refrigerator (more precisely, a small mini-bar) could not be used for personal purposes - jars were tightly packed in it. If these jars are taken out of their cells, then later, when the room is vacated, you will have to pay. This "chip" has become very popular in expensive hotels, so you need to be careful not to touch the contents of the minibar unnecessarily. It is especially important for those tourists who travel with small children - they can grab something just like that, and then their parents will have to deal with the check-out ...
There are not many options for this hotel. One of the best is the Herods Tel Aviv hotel, where my colleague from the St. Petersburg office of Classic Travel stayed.
I recommend this hotel for those who are used to good hotels and are willing to pay for quality. If the extra charge for an executive room fits into the budget, then book this room! More expensive, but better + you won't stay hungry : )
And further.
When checking in, ask for south facing windows - then the sea view will be complete, and not partial as in the case of windows facing north (towards Crowne Plaza).

My husband and I chose this hotel because it is in a convenient location and meets all our requirements in terms of comfort. We lived in a cozy and bright double room. Our trip included three meals a day. In addition, we got the opportunity to work out in the gym, as well as swim in the indoor pool. WiFi caught even in the room.

Cleaning took place only in our absence, and things after it remained in their places.

Excellent quality 5* hotel in the city center and right on the beach. The hotel has direct access to a wide beach (public beach - umbrellas, sun loungers and mattresses - for a fee, hotel towels - free of charge). From the hotel hall and from the restaurant there is a direct panoramic view of the sea, part of the restaurant is located on the terrace and also has a direct view of the sea.

From the hotel hall and from the restaurant there is a direct panoramic view of the sea, part of the restaurant is located on the terrace and also has a direct view of the sea. The rooms are very comfortable and cosy. There are several types of rooms, including several rooms. All rooms have sea views and all with balconies. Fitness center and SPA-salon (sauna, Turkish bath and jacuzzi) for all rooms free of charge, only procedures are paid.
The food is excellent - varied, tasty, there are culinary delights.
This hotel makes you want to relax!

I want to leave my review to help the next wishing to relax in this hotel. For starters, this is not 5 stars, but 4. When settling in, everything went fine, except for the key to the door (magnetic card), which did not work, i. e. with bags at 2 am (so much was the settlement) had to run around the floors.

These events were brightened up by a compliment from the hotel in the form of water and a box of sweets! (water was very helpful). The second nuance that arose was the safe. If you did not take a credit card with you, then you do not have a safe either, because. it is closed only by your credit card! The key to the door, also the card I mentioned, tends to demagnetize, so do not keep it near the phone, or go to the reception to change it. As for food, basically everything was fruits, salads, buns, and scrambled eggs (I only had breakfast), fresh only orange, oatmeal, yogurt, muesli, in general, you can choose.
The hotel is really located on the beach, but the beach is still municipal, I had to pay for an umbrella and a deck chair about 4.5 dollars a day! The pool is covered and small, uncomfortable. For what then the price is 300 dollars more expensive than for similar hotels with outdoor pools !! ! In general, the impression of the hotel is not bad, but not perfect as we would like!
